    All Alabama Haters are clueless

guys who are saying the national championship game was boring have no clue about history or appreciation for college football.

i do not have a link but i heard on espn that this defense was the best SEC D statistically since 1992.

u guys would rather see bubble gum defenses like okie st and stanford score 50 points on each other.

if stanford played bama andrew luck would have been on his back after every pass attempt. half the stanford roster would be injured and in the trainer's room by halftime

I think most of the guys complaining are just butt sore they took LSU

Tonight's defensive performance by Alabama was a remarkable feat and BCS Championship hi.story

I think game would of been different

Mikail on point as usual. i say most posters bashing alabama or saying anything negative about this game, bet on LSU in some way.

The Crimson Tide also became just the second team in history to finish the season ranked No. 1 statistically in all four major defensive categories -- total defense, scoring defense, rushing defense and passing defense. Oklahoma was the only other team to do it, in 1986.

Bama did play against a "real offensive team".

LSU is really good offensively, and that is not an exaggeration.

    LSU scored this year...

40 points with their BACKUP QB (LEE) against #3 Oregon
    47 points against #17 WVU
    41 points against #17 Florida
    45 points against #20 Auburn
    41 points against #3 Arkansas
    42 points against #14 Georgia

that was not some pathetic LSU offense that Nick Saban and Alabama shutdown.

also if anyone wants the link for that bold quote, here it is

I'm a life long Auburn fan, so I'm obligated to hate Bama anyway. I hated them before the game and I hate them afterward too. They played a great game and Saban did a great job. Les Miles is a dumbass and should have tried Lee at QB. IMO it was a boring game to watch. It would have been interesting to see someone else playing in the game. Ironically people thought Okie St should have been there in Bama's spot but actually they should have been there in LSU's spot!
LSU ran the same three plays over and over again. I hope Miles has grass poisoning this morning. No, I didn't have $ on a side or total...only prop bets.
    I still hate Bama.

    Zeta, fokk off guy.

I'm glad you found the interesting, for historys sake, but the rest of America, minus a few posters and terrorists here thought the game was fokking boring. And I'm pretty sure you and your buddy Mikail aren't the only ones enlightened on the history of college football

It was a fokking boring game, pal.

If a 21-0 game can be considered one-sided, and this game was, it's usually a mix of very good and very bad. Alabama's defense isn't as good as it showed and LSU's offense isn't as bad as it showed. So, LSU and Alabama played twice and split. We've proved nothing except that college football administrators aren't very bright.

Possible, but you have to figure the Tide would have put up way more than 21 on those 2 defenses. Tide would have been favored against both those teams.

Do people actually think they could beat saban twice in the same year--Lsu showed what they could do against an offensive team(oregon)--Bama is the best team case closed--Miles should get a new head instead of a new hat.

It was a dominant performance by Alabama.

Congrats to Bama. They deserved to win the game last night. Clearly the better team. What I can't say is that we witnessed a historically great defensive performance. In the first game, I walked away thinking these defenses were great. Last night I was appalled at how bad LSU's offense was. It was sloppy and unimaginative. Most troubling, the failure to make any adjustments. We saw that same ineffective option play in every quarter -- it was executed poorly and ill-advised given the lateral speed of Bama's D.

Listen, Bama was good last night and the defense played well. I just can't say they were great because of the inept offense LSU was running. IMO, the shutout was more a product of LSU bad play than Bama historically great play.

Because one team (on one side of the ball) played so poorly, the game was boring. Nothing like game one (one of the best game's of the season by far).

Yes, it should. Stop buying into what ESPN spoonfeeds you and actually think for a second.

    But but but but...Wojciehoski said.....

I mean c'mon, Jefferson was literally pitching the ball straight to Alabama defenders. What a great defensive play! LOL. My sister could have made that play. LSU was a joke on offense, unimaginative, without passion, untalented, and just flat out terrible. Don't get me wrong, Bama's defense is good, damn good, but let's not lose perspective here.

How many of those points were scored or set up by special teams and defense?

Not taking away from Bama defense but LSU offense is garbage. One dimensional with no consistent downfield passing threat.

North Texas gained twice as much yardage against Bama...at Bama.

Ok St or Stanford wouldn't have been shut out like that...

The only way Lee would be gotten in that game is if Jefferson was injured badly enough for Miles to let him off the field. The reason is his stats versus Bama. 1 TD and 7 interceptions.

Personally I thought it was one of the best BCS championship games since 2009. Roll Tide!!
