So many of the new Bowl games have empty stadiums

Will they ever let a team have home field? In TBay it's probably 25% of the seats are full. If they had this game at either one of the schools home fields it would be sold out. Can/will the change ever be made?

People voting with their feet is to be expected when some of the games are an absolute joke.
When you have the equivalent of a "Jim's used motors bowl" you devalue the title of "bowl game"

So much wrong with the college bowl system. Worst in all of sports by far.

too cold for most of the teams to play at home. the bowl game is only meant to be a vacation to a warm weather site for the northern teams at least. games are totally meaningless anyway. no one cares if they win or not. bowl promoters want to get tv money and could care less about attendance. for gambling purposes only should be the only interest to anyone on here. very difficult to pick neutral site games so good luck betting these junk bowl games.

should have to win 70% of your games or more to be in a bowl

There are something like 72 teams required to fill the crappy bowl schedule. With only 125 or so D-1 teams it's no wonder there are awful match-ups. College football on TV is a huge business fellas and as long as we buy it they will keep expanding it.

I know the bowl system is a money thing, but I don't see how they can make money on those crappy bowls.
