Is this the worst hiring stretch in major college football history?

    Kansas gets Weis.

    UCLA hires Mora Jr.

    Arizona dives for Dick Rod.

Arizona State reels in the turncoat Graham.

Who knows what's going to happen at Penn State.

What in the hell are these institutions thinking?

Weis to Kansas is the worst hire.

Fat guys can not hack it.

Weis is the best Kansas can do

    Rodriguez will thrive at Arizona

Mora Jr could turn out to be a decent hire. USC hired a failed NFL coach a decade ago and we all know how that turned out.

Don't know much about the Graham guy other than the fact that he did pretty well at Tulsa

Hardly the worst hiring stretch in CFB history. Shows what you know about the game. Stick to watching pinnacle line movements

Weis is the "best Kansas can do"?

What makes you think RR will "thrive" at Arizona? Do Slaton and White have eligibility left?

Mora Jr. is a huge gamble. UCLA could've easily gotten a more proven commodity.

I watched some of Pitt's games this year. Graham was a horrible in-game coach. He's proven nothing at the BCS level.

The same guy thats boss was AL Davis, who forced his hand and wouldn't let him build/coach the team like he wanted.

He also had coached for them previously, and fits with the system they already had in place.

They also got monty and orgeron which is a big part of their success. Both on the field and recruiting

Kiffen doesn't really apply here, USC basically hired a team of coaches.

Edit: not trying to defend kiffen, hate the man.

Christmas is going to be a little anticlimactic this year. Not all that exciting because every day is like Christmas when Urban F. Meyer is your coach.

Uhhhh....he was referring to Pete Carroll.

Hence the "a decade ago" reference.

flipped blue chip DLs from both Penn State and Sparty this week. if you'd asked me in August, i loathed the guy, but there is no denying that he's the best thing for the program. listening to him do games gave me respect for his coaching mind. he will be very aggressive. if you'd have told me at this time last year that a year later Urban Meyer would be OSU's coach and i'd be thrilled, i'd have set the odds at +1000000000000.

Didn't see that, assumed he was talking about kiffen since he was a recent hire.

Pitt by far had the best talent in the Big East, and Graham did an awful job with that team. Can't believe Arizona State hired him, although at least they didn't hire Mike Martz.

    Why?

What exactly has Rodriguez proved when he doesn't have White and Slaton?

    RR's D-I record without those cats: 43-43.

I thought this thread was going to be aimed solely at my beloved Panthers

For extending the Staches contract through 2014

And the firing him at the end of the season

Hiring an African American, which is noble

Firing the same African American because of domestic abuse charges before he even held a practice

Hiring shady ass Todd Scam for the 'long term'

Watching the Scam bolt to the desert.

    AD Pete needs to go
