I think in this game, Cincy has nothing to play for. Cincinnati no longer has BCS bowl hopes, with West Virginia eliminating the Bearcats. The Bearcats will more than likely replace CUSA champion Houston in the Liberty Bowl, and the results of this game will not matter. Connecticut is playing for bowl eligibility, and the Huskies will keep this game close and/or even have a chance to win outright.

Cincinnati still had a share of the Big East title to play for - in the Big East, as long as they share the title, they get the same share of money as the Big East BCS rep. So Louisville, Cincinnati, and West Virginia will share first place money even if WVU is the rep.
