2006 West Virginia Football Schedule Breakdown

this years WV team is not only stacked, but they have a very cupcake type schedule to boot this year.

QB pat white returns to run the this highly potent offense with 8 starters returning from last years squad. the mountianeers have some very skilled starters returning in the key offensive positions this year.

the WV defense has only 5 starters returning from last years team, but what starters they lost last year, that more than make up with it with there depth.

    heres the WV 2006 schedule:

    09/02 Marshall TBD
    09/09 E Wash TBD
    09/14 Maryland 7:30 PM
    09/23 at E Carolina TBD
10/07 at Miss St 2:30 PM
    10/14 Syracuse TBD
    10/20 at UConn 8:00 PM
    11/02 at Louisville 7:30 PM
    11/11 Cincy TBD
    11/16 at Pittsburgh 7:30 PM
    11/25 S Florida TBD
    12/02 Rutgers TBD

with this schedule of theirs i feel they will end up running the table going 12-0, and meeting the sooners in the national championship game.

An incredibly easy schedule but they have to hope and pray that nobody else goes undefeated or else it will be a BCS disaster and they'll be the odd team out.

I completely agree. With that cupcake schedule there's noway they get in if two other powers go undefeated.

I don't think this team is that good, Louisville despite struggling last year still was unbeaten in their place.

I can see the Cards taking out WVU in Louisville. And I feel this S Florida team could get an upset or 2 themselves.

That is a real shame to have such a easy schedule with their team being good this year. There is going to be teams that have 1 loss who should be ranked in front of this team even if WV is perfect 12-0. But if they go 12-0 and do not go to the title game a bunch of writers will still point to WV and say that is the reason there should be some play offs in college football even though they are playing a easy schedule.
