Mississippi State a 17 point dog at home to the Tide

This one is a head-scratcher to me. The Bulldogs are a solid team but they've just come up short against some better SEC competition this year. I expect a bit of a letdown here for Bama after the tough loss Saturday. Mississippi State has a lot to play for here especially if they want a bowl game. A win here would seal the deal.

I expect a hard-fought grind it out game. Taking the points here for a good-sized play.

LSU just woke up a monster in Alabama, you talk about a motivated pissed off team on Saturday night?? I feel sorry for Miss state this game is going to be a blowout.

Trent Richardson is going to go off and Alabama will probably not allow Miss State to score a single point. Trust me Alabama gets it done here. They still have a slim chance at the national title and they will need to win huge in every game they have left to get to the title game.

just my 2 cents. Alabama has won in blowout fashion every game this year except for the loss to LSU. Miss State is a decent team but they picked the wrong week to have Alabama come to town.

If Miss State shows up and plays to their full potential the score might be something like BAMA 24 MSU 6. Otherwise you are looking at a 38-3 type game.

At first I thought to myself that this was easy money. However...taking a deeper look at things reveals that Mississippi State is starting an almost all-freshman offensive line. Injuries and lack of depth have really hurt their offense since the Auburn game and it has showed. State's defense is still stout and there's a chance Bama comes out deflated a bit after LSU. I'm thinking it'll be a low scoring game...

LSU only got 19 total points. And Bama may only need to score 17 to cover...

I'm on this one too...everyone is following the "The good team lost last week and will destroy the week team" frame of thought. That's the natural reaction here, but I'm not here to do what everyone else does. If it loses it doesn't make me dumb...it's just a losing bet. I mean who cares if it makes about as much sense as Boise and BYU in the Big East...it's all good fun

I stand corrected. The injured offensive linemen that State had sitting out after the Auburn game are back healthy with exception of one who is out for the season. This will be a big help to State's offense...especially if they are able to step right in and be effective...

With that said....this is easy. State covers the 17. I can't see how Bama can be up for this game after having such a hard fought overtime game against LSU the previous week. Going to also make a small money line bet when it comes out...

Additionally....with State relying on a ball control/run game for it's offense...combined with two strong defenses...me thinks this will be a low scoring game. Under 42.5 for the game....

Someone please try to convince me otherwise....

I'm new to this forum and I'm a BAMA homer, so fade if that puts me in some category.

Word from T-town is that practice has been crisp. Players have put the game behind them and realize that ANYTHING can happen. We lost over there the first year Saban was at Bama and he will remind everyone of that ALL WEEK! Bama by 21.
