LSU still has to play arkansas

Don't get me wrong, I like lsu to win out and spank any other conference that gets invited to the bcsncg.

But I do not see the hogs rolling over and taking a beating like most would expect.
People already have LSU slated for the NCG, but remember WV's less than admirable geno smith torching the lsu seconday for nearly 500 yards?
If you don't think Tyler Wilson is capable of throwing downfield, think again.
They also have to play UGA but I sincerely think the hawgs the last real shot to shake up the SEC west.
It has been quite a while since we had a three way tie in the west, but it may very well come down to that.
If that does happen who will get the nod to go-ahead to the SECCG?

All I am saying is the season is not over yet, they still have big games to play before they get to the big dance.

Just watch to see what the line opens at. Arkansas may be a play here (plus the points).

    2010 Arky 31-23
    2009 LSU 33-30
    2008 Arky 31-30
    2007 Arky 50-48

Now I know last years team is not the same as this years, but keep in mind Petrino's record Vs Les miles.

Arkansas lol they have zero chance to beat LSU. College football is over fellas for all intensive purposes. Go ahead and crown LSU they are your 2012 National Champions. Title game will be played 1 hour from LSU's campus. Give me LSU no matter how many points they give up no matter who they play in the title game.

I wish Stanford would play LSU and have LSU only favored by 3 points. I would put everything I own on LSU.

No doubt Arkansas will come to play, as I would expect them to be 10-1 coming into that last week, tied with Alabama. Tyler Wilson is more dangerous than McCarron, and it took what was arguably the defensive play of the year from Eric Reed with that takeaway on the goal line to prevent the Tide's passing game from beating LSU. I could see this line being pretty steep, seeing as Bama was laying -14 when the Hogs came to Tuscaloosa, and I agree that there could be value in the Hogs + points (maybe the first half), depending on how many points LSU is laying, although I doubt I would touch it.

Anyone that thinks LSU is invincible must be very young... Upsets can happen...

It can happen, but honestly I still think they'd play for the title. OSU and Stanford would have to win out for a 1 loss LSU not to make it.

Boise State haha ya know in years past I would have said there is no way that Boise State deserves a shot at the national title

But I would actually like them to get that chance. I think Boise State's QB is the best in NCAA football and I could see Boise State putting a few points on the board vs LSU . The real question would be how much would LSU score on Boise

They definitely aren't a lock yet. Arkansas will be a tough challenge as would a Georgia team with a very under rated defense and playing with nothing to lose.

    Good question.
With a three way tie, who gets the nod?
    Alabama Beat Arky
    Lsu beat Bama
    If Arky beat lsu

Who would make it to the SECCG? If all had only one division loss?

And yes I still think whoever wins the SECCG will be invited to the BCSNC!

if rules have not changed then it goes to the team who has not been there in the longest and in this case it would be arkansas.

That has literally never been a rule. The team highest in BCS rankings is who gets the nod.

No i think it is the team who hasn't been there in the longest time. Atleast I think that is how they do it in the Big 10 for the Rose Bowl.

If Arkansas did beat LSU I guess Arkansas would go to the national championship .

Once again, NO. Where in the hell do you people think these rules up from? Who has been there the longest?? Seriously?? You can't be serious.....

Riverboat you crack me up. I was just going based on what I thought.

But for some reason I think recall a time when Ohio State had a higher BCS ranking than another big 10 school but the other school got to go to the Rose Bowl.
