They would have lost anyway on the 2 point conversion, they couldn't score two times after that from the 2.

It wasn't a catch. Leg was down, but he did not have possession. You can not overturn that call.

When the WR went to the ground the ball touched the turf plain as day. Incomplete pass, Michigan sucks and you retards who bet them lost.

Calm down dude. The top half of the ball hit the ground. Wasn't fully secure. And I could give two shits about either Michigan or Iowa and didnt have money on it. Not a clearly controlled grab.

    Totally screwed.

Caught it and had a knee down. Doesn't make a difference the ball hit the ground because it was tightly secured against his chest.

Then the last play was clearly pass interference.

ball can touch the ground as long as it doesn't move, it didn't move.

Refs missed three pInt in this game. They actually called one but then waved the flag. The other one resulted in a INT in the endzone.

umm, yes it is. The ball was secured before it hit the ground. It didn't move.

The play stood due to inconclusive evidence. Not because it was confirmed. Just a bad call all around.

OMG you are such a freakin homer man. I just watched it again on BTN and 1. he never had it secured against his chest, 2. he barely had a hold of it and then it touched the ground when he fell and the ball moved. It was the right call.

Not going to argue with you.

National TV says it's a touchdown. National Radio says it's a touchdown. 97.1 (Detroit Radio) is talking about how they were robbed right now. The host on the radio is a State fan and hates Michigan, and is saying that there was conclusive evidence.

Being a homer makes me more mad about it, but it doesn't change the call.

Ball hit the ground on the TD.

With that being said, the last "non call" was a joke -- and I typically hate calls at the end of games.

No coin, it did hit the ground, but that doesn't make it not a touchdown. The ball was securely in his arms and his knee had already been down.

And yeah, the no-call at the end was awful too

One thing I will say is that we probably should have spiked it instead of taking that timeout with 16 seconds left. That way we could have ran it once. Shouldn't have came down to that though.

His knee was down in the end zone, true, but I beg to differ on having the ball securely in his arms.

In any event, the game's over and the officials were just plain awful across the board from start to finish in this game.

Yeah, now I'm listening to 97.1 where the topic is Michigan getting robbed. Going to be frustrated about this one for awhile

It's funny, because a buddy of mine is an Iowa fan and he talked about all of the "bullshit" calls against the Hawkeyes.

The ball was not secured in his arms. The only call you can really bitch about is no P.I. on the very last play.

haha wow. Like that pass interference against Iowa that was overturned before Denard fumbled on 3rd down?

It's interesting how adamant 97.1 is that it was a catch too. Usually they're pretty anti-Michigan lol

    So its an incompletion.

Since when can the ball touch the ground at any point?

If the ball is secured first, it doesn't matter. It just can't move.

The ball was caught, knee hit the ground, and it was secured against his chest. Then it hit the ground when he went down, but it was still tight against his chest.

Think I've pointed that out a few times. They said the same thing during the broadcast.
