    Handicapping tips

Here's a few for you, not saying you'll agree with them or not. I actually have more written and published a book on them, and gave them away for free. These are for College and Professional football. Copy and paste if you want to your computer. . THERE NO GUARANTEES!!!! interceptions, fumbles, kickoff returns, punt returns, bad officiating, etc...can efffect a games outcome. I'm sure other guys have handicapping points/tips

    1. START STUDYING EARLY
    2. BET ONE GAME--hard to do, but give it a try
    3. CHECK ON INJURIES
    4. PLAYING OVER THEIR HEADS--watch out for let downs after a big game.

    5. EASY TEAM TO BEAT--sometimes easy won't be easy
    6. WEATHER

    7. DIVISIONAL GAME
Divisional teams might play harder against each other and keep the game closer in score.

    8. OUT OF DIVISION
Could be a different mind set than a divisional game.

    9. PLAYER HYPE
People talking about this one player how good he is, but after the game it's a different story. It's a team effort.

    10. TRAVEL FROM COAST TO COAST--might be taxing on some

    11. HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE
Even if a team isn't doing well one still has to take in consideration they're at home. Possibly find a team you might feel more comfortable to bet on.

    12. ARTIFICIAL TURF AND GRASS
Results may vary depending on what type of field the teams are playing on.

    13. ROOKIE STARTERS
A starting rookie needs experience: quarterback, corner, linebacker etc., maybe wait a couple games into the season to see how the player is working in with the team before betting.

    14. CONTROVERSY STIRRING
Somehow some bad news leaks out about a player, team, or coach and that might have a negative effect on the team. Getting traded or dismissed might rid a sore spot from the team, and maybe help another.

    15. PLAYING AT A NEUTRAL STADIUM
A neutral stadium might produce different results from both teams.

    16. SHORT WEEK
Depending how short the week is, it might have an effect on the next game. Could be meaningless altogether a short week.

    17.2- 3 -GAME ROAD TRIP
The 3rd game might be getting to them mentally. Maybe look at 2-game road trip too. Were they in the game? Look at the final scores.

    18. QUARTERBACK COMES BACK TO REALITY
The quarterback is terrible, but suddenly he has a couple good games, then suddenly he has back to having bad games again.

    19. TEAMS GELLING ABOUT QUARTER TO HALF WAY
Look for teams streaks as the season gets in mid form. A bad team might start getting it together by playing closer games, or even winning some games.
