    Why Did Oklahoma Lose On Saturday???

    I didn't watch the game because they didn't televise it on ABC like they were supposed to originally (due to the delays)




    so WTF happened??? OU's defense has looked amazing in all their games Ive watched and they were just annihilated by TT. On offense, it seemed like nearly every drive in the first half was a 3 and out...against a horrible defense

    one of those games man that you can't explain. they happen every year...and will again this year. ou fans might try to say the delay, and they did look flat. oklahoma is more talented for sure, but tech just completely dominated them. every phase of the game man, they beat them up. ou is famous for a game like this now and then as well...lol.

    texas tech matches up horribly with OU though, that's the strange thing. OU is like Texas Tech on massive amounts of steroids...not to mention the HUUUGE difference in talent level on defense


    I'm just baffled by how a top 3 team can go out there and lay an egg like this knowing what's at stake playing at home against such an inferior opponent

    I watched them against Texas and FSU and their defensive talent and athleticism (especially on the front 7) to me looked about as good as the Bama and LSU games I've watched



    I thought this OU defense was the best OU defense I've seen in at least 5-6 years

    The OU pass rush couldn't get at their QB and so he had a ton of time to hit his targets, over and over. They also did a poor job of setting containment, allowing TT to turn the corner several times, which just expanded the field even more. When it became clear that TT's passing was on that day, OU started blitzing more and it worked a bit, but TT just ran screens and they kept completing passes. OU didn't really get to the TT QB until the second half and never consistently.

    It was superior game-planning by Texas Tech that got them the initial 17 point lead and allowed them to counter everything that the OU defense threw at them when OU tried to adjust.

    yea i guess u can say the same thing with ole miss vs ark.. one thing for sure was vegas cashed in

    They were just off balance. Landry Jones just couldn't establish himself because they just weren't on the field consistently. TT scored 2 TDs in 2 minutes because of an OU fumble off the kick return.

    Sometimes the big faves lay eggs...

    he doesn't understand all that man. gotta say it like this...

    tech took them down to the corner of know your role boulevard and jabroni drive, and checked them into the smackdown hotel...lol.
