Ron Zook returns for another season in champaign IL, and will try to turn the Illini football program back to respectability.


Zook has around 20 starters returning from last seasons team and some prize prep recruits comming in this year. they the also have 3 transfers comming in as well, but none of them are worth really talking about IMO.


the Fighting Illini alumi have very high hopes this year, although with the talent level on this years squad i highly doubt those amuli will get there prayers answered. this is a team that has given up roughly 43 points a game on average last season, and has a brutal big 10 schedule to go thru this season.
