NCAAF Week 6 Bloodbath for the Books - Weekend Betting Recap with Doc from Legends

Doc, the Head Linesman at Legends Sportsbook, did his weekly football betting recap interview with SBRtv, and discussed Week 5 NFL, Week 6 NCAAF, which was in general bad for the books. According to Doc, college football was a bloodbath, and the NFL was not much better, but with a few games that were good for the books.

Look out for the second segment of this call, where Doc discussed what impact, if any, the NBA lockout with have on the books! It will be up later this afternoon!

    I hear you

I that might be every week unless you hear that it was a "bloodbath"

There are years where the books do in fact lose, though, I think the classic one recently was '05 or '06

And I do know for a fact that a pretty big book lost in football overall last season, so it does happen for sure

Give me a break. Their lines are as vanilla as they come.

If you hide behind Don Best / Pinnacle when you get one-sided action don't complain when you get buried.

Offer your clients a good number on sides like Texas / Florida / Northwestern / etc. and we will bet them.

Good points in general, but Doc did say the way he books he can weather those kinds of one-sided winning action storms, and he has also said over the years that he does sometimes hang leans or outlying lines at times, for various reasons.

He also doesn't manage lines only for Legends

I disagree. An NFL team can take a week off, the good teams in college football can't.

College sports in general are way easier throughout the season. More consistency and you don't have to deal with the primedonna factor in pro sports. Good rule of thumb.

Players looking to get paid, play WAY harder than those already getting paid.
