A moderator was doing his job and monitored this thread and decided to give Killer_Demo a vacation since he does not want to contribute nothing positive to the forum, so it is nice to see we have some people in charge here on the forum who do want the forum to be productive. Great job Urban!! I love Baylor in the Cotton Bowl! The whole city of Waco is going to be there and Art Briles is a damn good coach. I think they'll be playing angry and Mich State is overrated with the B10 being down again this year. I like North Carolina too. What are your feelings on Cincinnati/Va Tech and S. Carolina/Miami? Gunner Kiel reminds me of a young Carson Palmer....think he'll be a 1st rd NFL draft pick and they have pretty good receivers plus their D is playing a lot better than earlier in the season. South Carolina showed some pride beating Fla in the swamp and battling Clemson. Miami isn't that great....like SC +3.5Comment -

Much appreciated and you are exactly correct in your thoughts on Baylor/Michigan State, which is why it is my number pick to play of all the Bowl Games. As far as those other games you mentioned, I have no opinion as they are toss up games as far as I am concerned, and should only be played for entertainment purposes. Sorry I do not and chose not to play this game because I have watched Marshall numerous times this season, and I simply do not trust there defense, and they have played no one. Again this game I feel is a toss up, and should only be played for entertainment purposes. If you choose to play it good luck to you, and also have a safe and fun filled Holiday Season!

Just putting together #s and info for Cincinnati and Va Tech. The Bearcats are on a 6-0-1 ATS streak while VT is 3-7 ATS. The Hokies just got held to 3 pts vs lowly Wake Forrest on Nov 22. Gunner Kiel was the highest rated QB in the country coming out of high school 3 years ago or whenever it was. Plus Tuberville (Tuperville?) said this receiving corp is the best he's ever coached and he was in the SEC for quite a while. I think Cincy takes this one easilyComment -
Some people say that Rakeem Cato is the best player in Marshall history.
The question here is, "how competitive was Conference USA this year?"
Maybe that's not even the question, if you can go undefeated for the entire season with one loss in OT by ONE point, it doesn't matter what conference you're in....that's tough to do. It's not like Marshall is running into a PAC 12 team or an SEC team, where the strength of the conference would be glaringly obvious. They are playing Northern Illinois, who are a very good team but, they are conference champions in a conference that is not that much stronger than Conf. USA.
If Cato is as good as everyone says he is, 10.5 shouldn't be that hard to cover for a QB who can put a lot of points on The board very quickly.
NIU us a running team who score 32 points per & I think Marshal can hold them to less than that today.

I hope I am wrong but I think Northern Illinois will win because I think they possibly have the stronger defense, and will control the clock with there running game. I am also not playing this game because I have no confidence in it at all.

What the fuk happened to Western Kentucky and I already spent that money when I left with under a minute to play and they had the ball? This has to go down as one of the worse losses of all time for me. They score 42 points in the first half, then only 7 the entire 2nd half.
