I have a home in Puerto Vallarta, but in July the flights from my home here in Cartagena, Colombia to Puerto Vallarta were 13 hours long because of long layovers especially in Mexico City, where as Cancun was only a 5 hour flight, Cartagena to Panama for 30 minutes then directly into Cancun. Puerto Vallarta I have to go to Bogota, Mexico City, and then Puerto Vallarta. I actually do not like Cancun, and it is so expensive, but my friend had never been there and she wanted to check it out.

I designed it, and it took 8 years to complete, as I only added on when I had the money to do so, as I did not want to take out a loan and be in debt. It is 10,800 sf. Puerto Vallarta is my favorite city in the world by far. I love the people, the culture, it offers great restaurants and nightlife. It is a big city but at the same time because of how it is laid out, it is a small city, and very easy to get around, and it is very secure for a city of its size.

The laws have changed on that. There are certain regions/areas that applies to, where you do not own the land but have a long term lease of the land. Where I am at you can actually own the land which I do. I also have a **** for permanent residency.
