UCF is loaded with speed in the backfield, bunch of kids from Miami and Orlando who will f$#k your world up. FIU is loaded with the same kind of players (15 returning starters from last year's bowl victors), and that's why they pulled the upsets against UCF and Louisville. Dont doubt it.
BYU is similar to Boston College in speed and talent. Witness what UCF did to them.

lol, BYU is no roll over. Texas must possess a bunch of slow pokes with no talent then.
Texas: 5-7 last year and possibly worse this year. Newsflash: Colt McCoy starts for the Cleveland Browns.
McCoy is decent, better than some of Cleveland's previous starters. Texas sure hasn't played like a 5-7 team, more like a 19th ranked team.
Texas hasn't beaten anyone this year. BYU sucks, UCLA sucks worse. Oklahoma is going to throttle Texas in two weeks if Iowa State doesn't do the job first. I don't know about that, BYU kept it pretty close. Texas demolished UCLA actually, showing how many times better they are, and why they're a top 25 team. I'll give UCF props if they can go to provo and lose only by single digits, but don't see it happening.

Gilbert was still stinking it up for the Horns when they played BYU. Case McCoy and Ash have stabilized the position. Texas was far worse on offense when they played BYU. They were a train wreck. UCF is the correct play.
The golden knights come into this matchup looking to get their 2nd big non-conf. win, both teams are coming off losses. i do wonder how byu is psychologically as a team rite now after getting thrashed by utah. BYU is disappointing many who thought they would be a very good football team, they did almost beat texas on the road but failing to win those close ones could be a bad sign for them. UCF is also coming off a tough loss and takes to the road trying to bounce back. UCF did lose several key players from last yr, losing their 3 top WRs, best DE in program history, 2 LBs, and several playmakers in the secondary. But they have a good core intact and this is still a solid team with a lot of speed and athleticism. They will rely heavily on their running game n a strong O-line although BYUs strength on defense is their front 7. But the difference again i think is byu struggles against rugged athletic teams just as they did vs utah giving up big play after another. UCF will try n do the same with godfrey a threat to take off on any play. The defense i think will hold their own vs byu, to me heaps n that offense have not figured out their new pro style offense yet n its showing on the field. Despite hostile conditions the golden knights have a fair shot at winning this one and byu suffering 2 straight at home a real possibility. Edge to UCF +2, ML +110. GL

Texas was 5-7 last year, yes. Possibly worse this year??? Hahahahaha. Now i know to take BYU. Texas is MUCH better this year on all sides of the ball.

Its called recruiting, home grown talent from florida. If you saw UCF play vs georgia in the bowl game las yr u kno wut im talking about they have a lot of fast players they can mix it up with anyone.BC is awful....BYU isnt that bad and they are playing at home..

Buddy is UCF alum - watches every game obviously - says UCF is much worse than they look on paper. This was after the FIU game, so he was likely jaded - but he has been looking forward to this game for a while - knowing that BYU is going to throttle UCF. Maybe he is wrong - but has won last few UCF games - including both going on and against them at the right times.

I'm going to try and go to this game since I live in Utah. BYU will not lose 2 home games in a row this year.Last game was a big fluke and they stuck with texas. good teams find ways to win. Notre Dame was sucking and then beat a ranked opponent.

BYU has only 118 yards rushing on the season and facing the #1 pass D in the nation, just don't see how BYU moves the ball. FIU kept CFU in check with 6 sacks and a strong blitz package. BYU has yet to get a sack this year, just can't see how BYU hangs with them tonight. GL to all.
Depending on what source you use, CFU is a 60 percent public favorite tonight.
The game will just have to do the talking but After BYU almost beating Texas just is more important to me than UCF beating BC.
I can't take anyone seriously that calls them CFU.
That being said. I'm leaning UCF and the points. BYU won't play as bad as they did against Utah, but they will have a couple of sloppy moments and UCF should be able to take advantage.
