Football Betting Recap with Doc from Legends: Losing Weekend in NCAAF

Doc recapped the betting action from Week 2 NFL and Week 3 NCAAF with SBRtv.

A number of college favorites covering were bad for the books and for the sharps, and the books also got hurt on NFL teasers on Sunday.

So what are you implying Loshy? That sharps bet on dogs regardless of the match up? Like a sharp will bet on Miss St and Florida St and overlook the better team on the field?

No but Doc does seem to imply that in general, the games he singled out in the video are the kinds of games where he tends to see betting patterns repeating themselves, with the "sharp" guys taking the dog side and the "public" taking the other, and that he usually winds up needing the side the sharps took to cover.

And this week, all those sides lost ATS, so he says he lost in NCAAF.

And again, the definitions of these terms are somewhat debatable, of course, but the sharp/public dichotomy definitely does exist to people like Doc, who are the most qualified of anyone to validate its existence or not.

And again, Doc does see sharp action on the credit side.

    Good explanation.

It's easy after the game is over to look at the final score and look at the betting patterns before the game started and say this was sharp move and this was public move. What will help is if he tells us before the games start who are the sharps are on and who is the public is on and see who is right after the game.
