Just an afterthought about the LSU/MSU game

There was no RLM here. None. In fact, Pinny opened with LSU at -3 (-110) and closed at -3.5 (-103). The hook was added early at Pinny (within the first two hours of open last Saturday) and again 10 minutes before kickoff, which is big for faves (-3.5 is typically a much stronger number than -3).

ML was -154 at open and -168 at close.

It's true that bookmaker opened at -4.5 last Saturday and worked its way down from there, but they also closed at -4 (vs. -3.5) and their ML movement was in LSU's favor as well.

I'm no expert -- just my two cents from what I observed. I have a feeling quite a few sharps won with LSU tonight as well. They were clearly the better team and, looking back now, would probably cover at least 7 or 8 times out of 10 in this given spot.

Well it was all right there in front of everyone beforehand at SBRodds, and I know a lot of people were talking about "fading the public" because LSU was such a high % play. Without something to indicate there were "sharps" out there on Mississippi State, that theory really had no leg to stand on.

That sharps aren't always the sharps that sharps appear to be sharply sharp about when being sharp?

I had LSU -1 -162 just before the game started. At the half i jumped on LSU again at -152 ML. I don't understand why it was so cheap at the half when LSU was up by 3 points. It was clear to me at the half that LSU was the better team and they weren't losing this game.

JUST MY TWO CENTS BUT i LOVE ALL THE TALK ABOUT "SHARPS OUT THERE" ON THIS SITE.

THEY ARE LIKE SANTA CLAUSE. EVERYONE KNOWS HE EXISTS BUT NO ONE KNOWS WHO HE IS.

i HAVE FRIENDS THAT WORK THE SPORTSBOOKS IN VEGAS AND I WILL TELL YOU PEOPLE COME AND LAY $5000 ON A GAME RIGHT BEFORE IT STARTS....(SHARPS RIGHT?) I SAID DO THESE PLAYS USUALLY WIN? HE SAID NO ITS STILL ABOUT 50/50.

When will people learn that there is no such thing as a "sharp" vs a "square". Last Night if Miss. State wins, there would be a million threads about how all the "Sharps" were on them and all the squares were on LSU, now it is the other way around since they lost.

Not sure everybody is watching games or knows what to look for. This was rather easy one to predict on a short week knew lsu was going to wear them down.

    this

If you like a side, if you think the side is the better team, if you think the side will be a winner, then just mother freaking bet it.

Don't worry about who is betting what, the line farted 1/2 point in 2 minutes, that "LSU is 11 points better than MSU on the road, but the line is only 4 (or whatever) it must be a trap, maybe I shouldn't bet it after all, because somebody knows something.............."

Yes, some people know somethings, but not to the extent people over think things to be.
