Boise's offense will not be as potent as last years team with the loss of Petis and Young, but everything else should be the same, including their underrated defense. Murray is a talented QB, but without all world WR AJ Green, the Bulldogs struggled last yr. And with the RB suspensions/transfers, freshman Crowell will have a lot on his shoulders, not to mention Georgias poor pass defense. Peterson and Moore will put together a very intelligent gameplan, and will execute in the 4th qtr when needed most, just like against Va Tech last year.

    Boise St 27 Georgia 23

yawn... who cares both teams suck. But I would say Georgia wins here just b/c its at Georgia and Boise can only play good on smurf turf against cupcakes

Keep in mind, all that Boise lost from last year were their 2 stud WR's. WR is one of the easiest positions to fill in according to most college coaches. They keep 3 or 4 starting OL from last year and their solid RB and keep a lot from a good defense as well

small lean to georgia at +3.5. i dont really trust them in a game like this against a team who finds ways to get the job done.

from a talent standpoint them getting points in their backyard is enticing though.

Ahh I couldn't agree more. People need to wake up. UGA isn't good and Richt is on his way out.

Unless Georgia has a Virginia Tech-style meltdown, this game won't be close.

UGA's defense has looked really good in camp. It's surprised everyone who is covering them. They moved Alec Ogletree from safety to MLB and it's looked like a brilliant move. They have two 350lb Tay Cody like defensive tackles now and have a transfer from USC who is going to replace Justin Houston. This is going to be a good defense.

If I were betting, I'd go under 52.

Not sure of a side to pick, but like the under 52. Both teams have good defenses. Georgia has problems on the offensive line, no AJ Greene. Boise loses top 2 wideouts to the NFL. Total line might be a bit inflated because of Boise's reputation as a high scoring team. Flash back to Boise/TCU a couple of years ago- very low scoring. This game has the same feel.

i like the under. I think Georgia's D combined with Boise's losses on offense will give Georgia the edge. Maybe even a parlay Georgia and the under.

also think with the additions on D we should see some improvement. How much improvement is yet to be seen...gonna be interesting to see how the 350LB mountain will have an effect this yr

I typically love the SEC in games like this, but I'm going Boise. Georgia has been a huge disapointment since they waxed Hawaii in the Sugar Bowl, while Boise has essentially knocked off anyone they've faced. Boise has a ton of starters coming back. I think Boise wins this by 7-10 points.

Boise without Pettis and Young will struggle. I like Doug Martin but I think Georgia basically in there own backyard will win. Aaron Murray will shine in this one

Two freshman to watch for the Dawgs: RB Isiah Crowell and WR Malcolm Mitchell. Dawgs too fast and too many weapons for Boise. It'll be a close game but Dawgs have the superior special teams which wins this game. 30-24 Dawgs

WOW... I Can't believe how many are backing Georgia on here. I live about 20 minutes from Athens and bleed Red and Black but honestly I can't see how Georgia can hang in let alone get a win. Boise St. is bringing back almost everyone on Defense and we all know their Offense is one of the best in football. I love Georgia but they will lose this game by 2 td's.

Just so you know they will also lose against South Carolina nest week also. 0-2 out the gate and Georgia fans will be wanting Mark Richt strung up by his neck.

All of you are retards that think Boise St. wins this game. Its fuckin common sense...Georgias secondary is as good as its ever been...Boise lost all talented receivers...which means they are going to have to run the ball Georgias DL > Boise's OL and UGA still has some very talented linebackers and transfers. Boise won't score more than 17. Aaron Murray was excellent last year as a redshirt freshmen and don't expect nothing less from him. AJ green is gone but UGA still has a mirage of TE and capable receivers....and depth and running back. Look for UGA to come out and set an example.

@Oregon in 2008 as a freshman, Moore has QB rating of 176.5 in 5 point win. I'm guessing he knows how to win on the road even more as a senior.

NCAA 2012 predicts Boise St 23 UGA 20 but they have the game being played at Sanford Stadium. http://www.wsbtv.com/entertainment/29023503/detail.html

Of course I am a UGA homer but there is no way in hell UGA looks past this game. The first two games are probably the biggest on the schedule as of right now. If Georgia doesn't dig a hole in the first half we a chance. For some reason the 2006 sugar bowl at the ga domes keeps coming to mind for me. I don't bet on or againt my dawgs but if we lose this game and next week against South Cackalacky , Richt cam kiss his own ass goodbye. As much as I like him, he just hasn't been able
to light a fire under the Dawgs in a long time.
