More than likely you saw or heard about Louisville's 27-2 dismantling at the hands of rival Kentucky. The part you might have missed is the fact that Louisville held Kentucky to 210 total yards and only 1.9 yards per rush. Hunter Cantwell threw 3 interceptions in his first start of the year and Louisville also fumbled the football twice. This Louisville defense is for real. Hunter Cantwell is missing his top 3 WR's right now. Cantwell's 2 best offensive lineman are BOTH probably after being injured 2 weeks ago against Tennessee Tech. Both of these guys are All Big-East caliber linemen and Cantwell isn't the most nimble QB in the pocket. Kansas State has played 2 cupcakes and ran up the score both times. Kansas State gave up on average around 200 yards of total offense. Louisville CAN'T hang with Kansas State in a shootout and they won't try to. Louisville will try to grind it out and force Kansas State to make plays. Kansas State WILL NOT make enough plays to cover the total of 56.5 points though. The game could go either way, but the total is gimmie IMO.
