I have a strong lean toward Iowa, but I wouldn't call it amazing. Remember, this is still a non-conference Big Ten road team.

This is a weird game, don't know how to approach it. Everyone is Pittsburgh is clamoring for Matt Cavanaugh to open up the offense, and maybe he will, he showed some signs in the second half of the Buffalo game. Also, it will be interesting to see how Pitt's quick, athletic defensive line fares against the big guys on Iowa's o-line. Being a fan of Pitt, I can't be against them, but if I had a lean it would be Iowa.

Iowa's still having quarterbacking problems, hell Ferenze named both of his quarterbacks as starters on his 2 deep this week. Iowa's defense is excellent and should put a big hurt on Pitt, but the offense still sucks. If Pitt stops the run this could be another 3-2 game.

I think Pitt's poor performance in Week 1 gives us value here. Awful coaching aside, Pitt's a talented team and I'm not sold on Iowa's offense. I like Pitt to re-establish themselves as a Big East contender with a solid win. Then again, I'm sure Wannstedt will find away to screw things up. What an awful, awful coach.
