Just wanted to share something.
In the past couple of days, I've been trying out Single Zero Roulette at Bookmaker. I only had $25 left on my account so I decided to just have fun and experiment. I used the Martingale betting strategy in combination of my own personal system, I suppose, and won $60 so far. I used $30ish for a sports bet and won, so I managed to get my bankroll on its feet to $110!
It happens so that Bookmaker and SBR Casino use the same Roulette Flash games so I practice my custom Martingale system at SBR sometimes to "warm up" before playing my real money at Bookmaker. I've turned 30 betpoints into 135 so far! I should probably get a pizza, but I'm having fun with roulette.
Here was how I played Martingale for roulette.
1. Play it as you normally would.
2. Analyze the patterns.
Roulette games show you a history of the spin results, so sometimes you can see apparent patterns. In total, I have played 300-400 spins so far. Here is what I have noticed.
MOST of the time, I see a pattern like Black, Black, Red, Red, Red, Black, Black, Red, Red, Red...
3. Play by the patterns.
Whenever I notice the pattern previously stated, I use Martingale quantities, but I bet on the winning color and attempt to get the streak. So if I bet $1 on Red and it comes out Black, I'll bet $2 on Black next time and most of the time I hit the win. If a Red came out, forcing me to lose the $2 bet, I would then bet $4 on Red, etc. If I ever win, my bet goes back to $1 and on the last winning color.
MOST of the time, you won't get a long string of the alternation pattern: Black, Red, Black, Red, Black, Red, Black, Red, etc. I notice from the results history that colors, for the most part, comes in twos. Two Reds are always going to win in a row. Two Blacks are always going to win in a row.
If I notice a tame pattern such as: Red, Black, Red, Red, Black, Red, Black, Black, Red, etc., then I will just revert to the normal Martingale system. Basically, to summarize, I start betting on the streaks when I notice the pattern. After all, the long streaks are there to break the Martingale bets!
4. Limit your Max Bet. Control yourself and accept your losses!
This is where I try to play smarter and not dig myself into a hole. So you know for Martingale, you double your previous bet after each loss, right? Example: $1, $2, $4, $8, $16, $32, $64, $128 (yikes!). Well, typically if I go on a losing streak and lose my $8 bet, I will ACCEPT MY LOSS and back down my bet to $1. For the most part, Martingale betting is pretty good and will make you dollars pretty quick, so accept your $7 or $15 loss. You can grind it back up easily.
5. Superstitious Mumbo Jumbo AKA Stupid Stuff
You can disregard this part, but it's just what I like to do. I like to load up the roulette game, analyze the history of color results, and play a spin or two with the according strategy in which I win a dollar MOST of the time. I then log off to take a (10-30min) break and do other things. Sometimes I log on an play until I win $3-4 and then exit the game. Sometimes I do sessions until I win $10. The point is to not to play a long period of time. I feel that the game might start off tame (no big streaks or long alternation patterns) every time I load it up. Besides that, I'll feel more stress-free and relaxed so I can play smartly.
It's very stupid, but hey, I'm somewhat superstitious so I'm going to continue it. It's been working and hey... They say if it ain't broke, don't fix it! I'm going to continue my process: log in, win a dollar or two, log out, take a break.
6. From my records.
- I've only played a $16 bet three times so far, when playing normal Martingale. Three times total coming from 300+ Roulette spins. I've NEVER played a $32 bet.
- I have accepted losses (streak) and reverted my bet size a total of three times. I bail out of the $16 bets.
- I am up +61 from real money and up +75 from SBR Casino.
7. My Goal
I want to continue doing this along with sports betting until I can hit a $200, which was my initial bankroll. I was new to sports betting and didn't manage my money too well and lost most of it. That's how I ended up with $25. Now I'm grinding it back up with some roulette.
Anyway, don't get the impression that I'm trying to pass this off as a perfect system. I'm sure it isn't, but it's been working out for me so far. I know they say Martingale is only good in the short run, so I'm going to probably stop once I hit my goal. Wish me luck!
