    My roulette Strategy

I have a roulette strategy. It is a progression however it is different in you are a favorite to win each individual spin. the session goes as follows:Spin 1: Bet 1 unit on 5 of the 6 6 number groups. So for example you would cover 1-6,7-12,13-18,19-24 and 25 -30. You will be about a 80% favorite to win. You repeat this until you lose. if you lose you would then bet enough on two of the dozens to win exactly 1 unit total. for example if you had bet $1.00 on the 6 number groups you would then bet $6.00 on 2 of the 3 dozens. If you lose this bet you bet $18.00 on 2 dozens again. If you lose this you bet $54.00 on 2 dozens again. If you lose this you bet $162.00 on 2 dozens. If you lose this bet you wager $324.00 on a straight bet. And then if you lose again you can bet $648.00 on another straight. I know it is dangerous to be possibly risking $1300.00 to win a measly dollar but what are the odds of you losing as a heavy favorite 5 straight spins and than 2 more at almost even. And if you do this just until you win about $35.00 and do that twice a day, what do you guys think the odds are of this being successful over time?

Chasing, positive-progressions always scare me because even though you are "a heavy favorite 5 straight spins" the impossible always seems to eventually happen. My thought is that you will win that $35 in almost of all of your sessions but there will be that one time when the stars do not align and you lose several thousand.... and that's gonna' hurt.

Every single bet you are placing has a negative expectation attached to it and you can't turn several -EV bets into a positive one. In the system you're proposing you're risking you're ENTIRE bankroll to win a $1. Of course, you will win most of the time but the time you indeed lose will wipe you out. This is NOT a successful strategy by any stretch and there is no possible way to beat roulette long-term.

Uh, I think this is a great strategy. Quit your job, grab all your money, move to Vegas, you can't lose!! Don't pay attention to the guy above with his -EV talk, no idea what he's talking about, he's thinking way too hard, you've got a solid system here, run with it, you can't lose.

There is no need to figure out strategy's for casino games. They are all designed to give the house the edge. Especially roulette. The best way to make money at the casino is by keeping your money in your pocket.

The Martingale Strategy is the best strategy to play Roulette.
    1. Find a roulette table with a small minimum bet and a high maximum bet.
    2. Bet a small amount on black or red, even or odd, 1-18 or 19-36.
    3. If you win, pocket your winnings and bet the same small amount. If you lose, double the amount you last wagered and place the bet on the same color again.
    4. If you win on the second bet, collect your winnings and place the original small bet or leave the casino. If you lose again, double your bet and try again.
    5. Repeat these steps until you either lose all of your money or you hit the table maximum.

That's a nice strategy! I'm gonna try it the next time I get a chance!
