Hi, there I'm somewhat of a newbie in terms of the "online casino gambling" scene. I do sports bets often on 5dimes and feel I do pretty well for myself and keep myself entertained.

So I was looking at the 5dimes casino for the first time in about a year. Never really wanted to play there, I enjoy table games with actual people. But the roulette table at 5dimes has this bonus payout thing of 1.09x for 18 number bets. So I began to think: if I bet on red and black for $1 each, then I'm winning back $1.09, meaning $0.09 profit each time I don't land on zero or double zero. Of course, the EV of this strategy is negative (-0.02) since it is a casino.

However, what if I escalated the bet once I landed on 0 or 00? Let's say I land on 0, then the next bet I put down 22 on red and 22 black. If 0 or 00 doesn't hit for the 2nd consecutive time, then great, I win back all but 2 cents. And continue on with my $1 on both red and black. Of course if I miss and get a second consecutive 0/00, I'm down $46. What if I escalate it again though and place $500 on both red and black? Then I make back all but $1. Now the odds of getting two consecutive 0/00 is 0.2%. The odds of getting 3 consecutive 0/00 is 0.01%. With such low, low odds, do you think this strategy is worth trying if I have a substantial bankroll?
