Here we go boys biggest heavyweight pillow fight of the year, this will help us gear up for AMIR KING KHAN, let's see who gets their feathers knocked out... Only bet I saw here was a small play on Chisora for some action, you never know one punch might do it.... Who ya got.....
I'm not going to lie... Chisora hasn't really had the best of luck with the cards. Helenius was laughable and I think the Vitali scores were a little wide. I think one was 11-1
I'd go with Khan by decision AND/OR I'll put something small on rounds 10-12 depending if the price is right. Need to delve deeper in to this but have been watching tennis so much I haven't had time. Khan is no old man Morales and while Garcia is decent and is tough, Khan is going to be too fast, too strong and yet, too much of a pussy to go after him. Although I'll go with Haye to win by decision, there's nothing worse than a shit-talking boxer who has a tendency to puss out and fight over cautiously. If Haye can land here and there, he'll keep it up and win the decision. If he can't, my guess is Chisora might be able to steal a decision. Need to do some last minute research to make my picks but I'll put em up on my spreadsheet as soon as I'm done.
Yeah, I'm at work but I had a chance to look over some tape of Garcia and had a recap with some of Khan - before even watching tape of Khan, Garcia looks really slow. When I watched Khan afterwards, it was like I'd been watching a heavyweight bout beforehand. Like you say though, that looping overhand right is a weapon Khan seems susceptible to and Garcia uses it fairly often.
Similar sort of situation to the Haye v Chisora fight I think, basically Khan is a better and faster boxer with more power but has sometimes seemed to have a shaky chin. Think I'm more confident in Haye however, or should I say I'm less confident in Chisora, so I'm thinking of just playing Haye by Decision and a no play on Khan. Way too much juice to lay it on him straight.
Yea, I'm only on one book (Heritage) and we don't have props like that for "smaller" fights. Haye coming in small (210 to Chisoras 247) will play to his advantage. His speed will be there and he'll be able to stay on the outside. Also, good news for Haye, they have a new ref that doesn't really let boxing on the inside and breaks it up pretty quick.
As for Garcia, he just needs to survive the first 6. That's when Khan sets the pace and overwhelms with flurries. I don't know how long he can keep it up now, but Garcia should be able to survive to the bell.
I'm only worried about if he can take it or not because Morales turned him into a Tomato

Been thinking about a play on Haye by decision. Haye's chin may not be the best, but Chisora hasn't shown much in the way of power - on the flipside, his chin is really solid and against Vitali he was doing pretty well by getting in close and smothering him to avoid the hard straight shots. I feel like there's too much on the line for Haye to take any chances. At 6/4, it's not the greatest odds but I'm fairly confident in the play - what are people's thoughts?
On the subject of boxing, I need to do some capping on the Khan v Garcia fight - anyone looked into it?
IMO, the more I look into it, the more I think this will be a decision for Khan. I don't think he'll knock Garcia out. His last three fights, while two were knock outs, probably could have gone to a decision.
McCloskey got stopped on a B.S cut (eh, probably could have got KO'd, but he survived to Khan's resting rounds), Zab thought he got hit below the belt and tried to milk it and Peterson went the distance (even if his testosterone levels' weren't high, I don't think Khan would've knocked him out).
Khan's trademark is his speed too, from what I've seen his new S&C coach has him getting a little bigger, so don't know how that'll work. Plus his endurance will be thrown into question since he also doesn't like doing roadwork, so we'll see how long he can keep his flurries up.
Garcia, it's starting to look like he'll make it a fight. Been working on that over hand right which Khan is susceptible too. Also, he's been doing some good body work and I don't think they want to box, I think they're trying to make it into a fight. Garcia's countering isn't good enough for Khan's speed, so he'll have to go to the body to try and slow him down.
Unless Garcia dominates Khan, I don't see Khan dropping another decision
Khan is definitely the play here IMO.
All in all, I think Khan wins a decision but might be more competitive than some thought. Roach is predicting a KO, but when the hell was the last time he got a call right? So, if Garcia can survive Khan's pace for the first 4-5 rounds, this fight'll go to a decision.... if not, then obviously KO.
This is my opinion though, do with it what you will. Take it into consideration, dispute it or just don't listen to it. Just thought I'd chime in.

Chisora is sayin he will give £20,000 to charity if Haye KO's him. Him and his camp know full well tht Haye will just pick him apart for 12 rounds....tryin to goad him in to takin risks
haye is such a little bith he will fear losing by ko and go into a defensive shell, chisora will be throwing his usual sloppy shit but the judges will love it
