    My UFC 127 Selections

Made my UFC Selections for UFC 127.

BJ PENN +180 (Risking 1.5 Units)
-I origanally was going to unload on Fitch and was hoping the line was more toward EV. My angle here is that Penn has done okay against wrestlers. He took care of Hughes and Sherk. I know those two aren't nearly the competitors as Fitch. Edgar looked great against Penn so I'm just looking as an overall. But I'm finding value as I see a motivated Penn finding a way to win here.

JASON REINHEARDT +235 (Risking 2 Units)
-Strickly looking at value here. Got 1 unit at +215 and then place another unit at +235. I believe it's somewhere around +230 currently. I just don't see this fight so one sided. My line would be around +150.

SPENCER FISHER +160 (Risking 1 Unit)
-Pearson looks to be the better figher, no dought. And I think the odds are about correct. I just want to see if Fisher has anything left in the tank. If he does, he will try to prove it here against the youth in Pearson.

    PARLAY (Risking 2 Units)
    -TUCHSCHERER -260
    -BISPING -325
    -SOTIROPOULOS -335
All three of these fighters get their arm raised after each of their fights in my opinion.

Best of luck to everyone with their selections. These are relatively low risk plays for me. My largest is a 5 Unit which hit for me last event with Forrest Griffin. I ussually try to find value with dogs, but couldn't pull any triggers big on any of these. We should be in for a great night of fights!!!

i say there's no way Penn beats Fitch.. but getting Penn as a dog is definitely tempting...

Yah, you'd think he'd be taking Fitch at anything up to Fitch -500 with a comment like that.

Penn is too much of a wild card. You never really know where his head is at or what his training has been like. Also, 170 is not his natural weight class and if you check out his fight metric stats as a whole they clearly illustrate he is much better off at 155. Fitch on the other hand has proven time and time again that he is without a doubt the second best welterweight in the world and has looked better than ever his last couple of fights. If I had money in 5dimes I'd be all over Fitch by decision.

jason reinhardt "the can crusher" after he lost to lauzon he fights guy who is 2-11 lmao then he fights a guy who is 0-5 ... Hes the shittiest 20-1 fighter you'll ever see.

i dont know who built that kid but whomever did it is good at finding these bums for him to fight only in the midwest can you find guys 20-1 fought nothing but bums in cali mma scene he'd get chewed up and spit out so fast.He would have to fight real fighters for one not 6-20 guys like mike lindquist twice lol

If you see value in the can crusher enjoy but if i was Joe Silva knowing we are trying to move into the asian market i'd think it would be wise to build up Tie Quan Zhang... Jason reinhardt is about an easy of a fight your going to get at 145 in the ufc ...tough division sure Zhangs hometown media would love reporting a victory over a 20-1 ufc vet doubt anybody there will breakdown that record and see its fluff

I respect BJ as much as anybody hes a bad ass but man did anybody see that weigh in?? BJ comes in at 167 = no weight cut he'll be that size fight time Fitch was sucked up looked almost twice as thick as BJ at the weigh in face off...come fight time Fitch will probably be 183-190ish tough to give that up against another elite fighter. if you dont think reach and 16 LBs or so isn't a big edge you havent wrestled or fought thats alot of weight.

Fitch was walking around a week before the fight at 176lb....he isnt going to balloon up to 185-190. He doesnt cut as much anymore because of dietary changes...He's looked the same all week.

You like Dogs why not Perosh+165 instead of reinheardt? Ok its like this unless zhang drops the ball this has been set up for him to have a good showing after that Wec loss dont believe me Joe silva was going to give him alex karalexis to get him back on the winning track then he offers reinheardt then when reinheardt gets hurt they wait to force the reinheardt fight that should tell you something about the path zhang is on. I dont think zhang is anything special but its clear why this fight is happening and its clear who the ufc is trying to set up to win.

i understand the penn pick you got a +175 in an almost coin toss fight i will not be betting this card unless i have a killer day in ncaa hoops. I give slight edge to Fitch but not enough to back with anything other than betpoints. Its a fight to watch and enjoy not wager on imo... about pounding favorites i cant remember the last time i bet anything over -185 that wasnt in a parlay to reduce risk. Best of luck to you too.

Should be a good a good night of fights. I just think Reinheardt has the skill to dictate where he want the fight to go. He has superior wrestling and I like his chances at +235. I also see him losing this fight. I personally think the odds should be more around +150 to +175. Just trying to find some value is all.

i see penn winning round 1 by stuffing takedowns and out boxing...but if that fuker didn't commit to cardio because he's in 170..i see fitch grinding out round 2 and 3.

I guess I should say, if they fought 5 times. He wins twice!

And at +235 I like that value.

I agree. I think both fighters want to end this fight quickly.
