    Excited for the JDS vs lesnar fight. I see JDS winning by way of tko. I thinks brock mma-wrestling is a bit overrated. And JDS showed some decent tdd in the nelson fight. Nelson could take most of his shots, but I don't think lesnar can handle those shots.

    i don't think jds is overrated.. but i do think this is a bad matchup for JDS.. it'll be interesting to be what JDS takedown defense is like against brock and how he works to get on his feet if it does go on the ground.. but if JDS can stuff some takedown attempts its lights out for brock...

    I think you guys are underestimating Lesnar's wrestling. He did put Valesquez on his back. Just couldnt keep him down. Purely speculation, but I dont think he is going to have as much difficulty keeping JDS down.

    I know its old news, but does anybody remember the tweet from Phil Davis saying that JDS manhandled him grappling? It was something to the effect of 'he threw me across the cage like a lil kid,' I'm too lazy to look it up but seems relevant to the thread. I also remember Roy saying he had a bad ACL in the JDS fight that hurt his takedowns considerably. You can look at it either way and draw conclusions. One thing I think nobody can argue is that there is a clear blueprint to beating Brock now. Brock's combination of advanced age/lack of experience make me think it will be hard for him to change his ways. Could he still win via GnP? Absolutely, I just feel that Junior is the worst guy to bumrush for the TD, which seems to be Brock's modus operandi. I can see it now - crazy viking comes like a freight train, gets hit with an uppercut (which we all know to be JDS' fav punch) and we get to see the techno viking 720 again.

    As for the last post, yeah I agree there is no harder guy to hold down at HW than Cain V, and this is an area where Junior has not been tested (outside of practice). Another thing I learned from Lesnar's last two fights is that he is really uncomfortable on his back and doesn't look like he drills getting up.

    My biggest question for this fight (moreso than can Junior survive the ground) is where is Brock's head at? Does he want his belt back, or one more payday? considering the wrestlemania fiasco, I have to sadly pick the latter.

    Brock can take anyone down at will, that's just a fact his Divison I national title and all-american status proves that... but he needs to work on with feet, but if he gets him down it's ground and pound for the win.

    I think Lesnar will have a much easier time keeping JDS down than Cain. I personally hope JDS gets the public and moves this line. I would love Lesnar at +150.

    How good is JDS TDD and BJJ? I have watched his fights but I can't remember seeing either in play. He is a blackhouse guy so he must have some decent BJJ. I would love to see Brock tap out.

    Well he has only been training for about 5 years. So its not like hes been doing bjj his whole life. No chance he subs lesnar, but a good chance that he can get up off his back. Gonzaga got him down briefly but he popped right up.
