    That was not fair except for me (Since I bet Johnson) that Johnson should be able to cut 30 pounds to fighter such a small fighter.

    Nog's wrist and hip control in guard is just awesome to watch and his counterpunching works very well with his TDD. Great fight and Davis won it but I think this answers questions about whether Davis can compete for the title at 205 or not.

    as for johnson cutting a huge amount of weight... i think thats fair. if you can do it then do it. its not an unfair advantage because anyone can cut that much weight too.

    and if they cant... thats like saying its not fair to punch accurately because the other guy cant do it as well.

    No, it means you have to win by 4 or more on all the cards combined. So if you get like 30-27, 29-28, 29-28 it's a win.

    Yeah, 30-26 is rare in itself. +3/3.5 would almost be a freeroll against the books. Load up on any live dog @ that number and you'll be able to live off round betting in MMA and boxing.

    Davis looked a little shell shocked; Nog is 10x better than anyone he's faced to this point give the kid time and he will be a top 5 guy.
    As for him fighting Jon Jones; Styles make fights and long limbs are a wrestlers best friend plus I don't think Jones will knock him out with his hands and if he kicks he will be taken down.

    Give Phil Davis a break people, that was only his 9th fight. That ring time would have done him a lot of good and I think we can expect an improved fighter next fight.

    Phil had several injuries including a back injury if I'm not getting bad information. A big reason why he was having trouble exploding up into the double leg, but could hit the single slowly.

    Kinda makes sense, also might explain why in all the blogs and pre-fight videos I saw of Davis training all he was doing was rolling around casually with his mate from Penn State. Almost looked lethargic and casual in all of them
