Boxing: Super 6 Round 3 plays

Who does everyone got and how? Also, if someone could post odds for all of these outcomes as soon as they've found them, that'd be great. All I have is Bodog for now and they're not up yet.

    Sept. 25
    Ward vs. Dirrell
    Kessler vs. Green

    Oct. 3
    Arthur Abraham vs. Carl Froch

Ward -330 Dirrell +270. Ward by decision
Kessler -850 Green +575. Kessler by decision
Abraham -155 Froch +135 This is the toughest fight obviously by the odds to pick a winner. Froch by decision

Oh yeah?? I tried to check the odds on 5dimes on their homepage but I couldn't figure out how to do it. Maybe I'll try some other sites. Where else do you get odds? Thanks for posting them here for the sake of the thread.

Those of you picking AA by decision over Froch, you may have a lot of value there. I think the bookies will favor him by KO. Are those odds up?

The places I usually check boxing odds:

    Bet365: http://www.bet365.com/home/
    The greek: http://thegreek.com/sports/home.asp
    5dimes: http://lines.5dimes.com/livelines/livelines.aspx#al_18
    Oddschecker: http://www.oddschecker.com/boxing

Pinnacle has better odds, but not many fights.

HTH, most sportsbooks are easy to navigate to the odds of boxing or mma, but for some reason 5dimes I could never figure out either, but it is rather easy. I'm not sure why I couldn't figure it out. Someone on here told me how to do it. Go to 5dimes homepage and at the top of the screen you see help, register, and live lines. Click on live lines and all the events show up down the left column of your screen. Then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and you see the fighting section. In there is boxing, ufc, etc. Pick the one you want and you see the odds. Hope this helps.

I've been keeping an eye out for the best odds on Arthur Abraham over Carl Froch. 5dimes is unreal in it's ability to suck total ass. WOW. Back when cookie monster first posted those links, it would not load their page. Just now I followed SnakeEyes instructions and it loads a bunch of programming codes, lol. Tried cookie monster's link and it indeed takes you to the same page. How can they have a ****** up site for WEEKS? What assholes. Guess I won't be depositing there. LOL

Hey guys, I found something interesting: On oddschecker.com they have odds listed for Wvlad vs. Peter under Bodog, but on Bodog's site, the only boxing match they have listed right now is Pac/Margo. I don't get it.

I'm not sure why that is but I do know both Wlad and Pacquiao will have no problems with their opposition in their fights.

Yes, I was thinking of going big on a Wlad/Jose Aldo parlay, like maybe 1400 bucks to win 400 or some thing. Seems like free money as i don't believe their opponents have a chance.

The Pac fight makes me a little more hesitant because of the size and workrate of Margarito. He's been relelntless in some past fights. But Pac will probably win.

I would never lay that much juice on Wlad. He's already been knocked out three times in his career and Peter is a big puncher. Having said that he is -1100 for a reason and will probably win, but it's just not worth it.

pacman is easy money. am very disappointed any state gave margarito a license. arum is a scumbag for giving a guy who cheated and could've done insane damage to another fighter illegaly a 7 figure payday.

manny is going to put on a show and break margarito down.

I believe Wvlad is much safer than Pac, but with good reason at -1100, I agree it's not worth it. I see Pac destroying Margo brutally, HOWEVER, it's not safe. I wouldn't be surprised if I were surprised and a beast of a Margo shows up and wins. Margo's "hit-or-miss" condition throws a wild card in there. If I can find a distance prop, I'll bet it doesn't go. I don't like the under for only 8.5 rounds, though.

I'm hearing that Ward and Dirrel are desperatley trying to get out of the fight, and Showtime is threatening legal action because if that happens the tournament will be ruined.

So if this fight does happen i will be dropping a large amount of money on the over!

This fight was bound to go the distance anyway and now we know that they probably won't be trying to seriously hurt eachother! It will look like a sparring session!

Yea Vaughany that fight already happened. He might be talking about Ward-Dirrell since they are close friends and were on the same olympic team. Have no idea about Green though.

Peter is now +9250 to win in rounds 1-3 and +3850 to win in rounds 1-6. Might be worth a very small play seeing that if Peter is going to land the miracle punch he needs it can only happen in the first half of the fight. He has 0 chance after that.

No, there's no date for it yet. The whole tournament got thrown through a loop when Kessler had to drop out due to injury. Alan Green was the replacement fighter, but he had already jumped in to take the place of Jermain Taylor. The remaining boxers and their promoters are negotiating what to do now that the round robin format cannot be completed.

Personally, I would like to see them dump Green, and just make the tournament single elimination from here on in. Ward vs. Dirrell. Abraham vs. Froch. The winners fight for the championship.

I thought it already was single elimination being that there is no other way to save the tournament. Isn't AA vs. Froch set? Maybe I'll look into it later and post back here.
