whats with cro cop being the underdog against pat barry?

Because this is half the man that was a former Pride star. Cro Cop has fallen off hard. Don't hallucinate and think you'll ever see a left high kick send-you-to-the-cemetary KO ever again from the Croat. He's sucked since coming over to the UFC and has struggled with mediocre fighters. Has he even finished a fight in the past few years? This is the level that Mirko has fallen to, sadly enough- Being a small underdog against some no-namer.

CroCop has trouble with larger fighters who put the size on him and wear him down during the fights. Barry at 5'11" is less likely to do so. He does have speed and power, but Hardonk did pick him apart onthe feet in the 1st round before he was caught in the 2nd. At +142 (PINNACLE) i'm going with CroCop, still think he has a chance of pulling out a win in this spot

Furthermore he has only had one fight goto a decision since coming over to the UFC.

Have you? His TKO win in Feb was against a late replacement that was a scrub, got owned by Junior, and his win over Al-Turk was a controversial eye-poke.

This is a tough fight to call, cro cop hasnt looked very good latley, but barry hasnt really faced anyone. With only 6 fights ,I dont see how he should be a -170 favorite.

They are the same type of fighter IMO its pretty much a wash. Niether are high volume guys, CC will snipe and Barry will pressure more with leg kicks and punching...expect CC to work the clinch against the cage too. I don't think he wants to stand at range and see if he can eat Barry's power.
