Props to Ramos. He had Lee in trouble at least 3x.

To think he caught him on a Cement Mixer, wow. If he didn't get the late pin, he was still going to win 11-7.

    Great clip of Ramos, post-match.

Wish more Underdogs would let it fly like that. What's the worst that can happen? You lose, so what?

    Good Luck, Billy.

Parris looking good. Versus Kerkvliet again, went to OT last time.

Just one hurdle. The AMAZING track record of Penn St wrestlers in Finals.

The University of Iowa released the following statement this morning about three-time NCAA Champion Spencer Lee.“It has been a long road of a recovery for Spencer Lee. He will medically forfeit out of the 2023 NCAA Wrestling Championships today in Tulsa.”Spencer suffered an upset loss in the semifinal round against Matt Ramos of Purdue. Spencer will finish in 6th place in his final NCAA tournament.

How many champs you think Penn St gets?

Is there one Finals matchup that sticks out? I have to say "not really."

    125. Lee was such a big-name. Ramos AND Glory were both gunning for this guy. Ramos has a huge scalp. How many days has it been since Lee last lost a match? Has to be something like 1400 days.

    133. Props to Arujau. I certainly didn't see the win over Fix coming.

    141. This might be the most even matchup of the Finals. Woods beat Alirez by one point last year.

    149. Yianni hates this guy (Sasso). Beat Sasso by 3 pts last year. I'm expecting the same.

    157. If Haines wins, another feather in Cael's hat. Off the radar to national champ?

    165. Maybe the best match. Both former champs, Carr won both matches from earlier this season.

    174. Less interested in this one. Props to Labriola on making Finals. Starocci looks a class above.

    184. Brooks lost one match in mid-season. Brooks the 3-seed but realistically the Favorite vs top-seed.

    197. 7-seed makes Sloan (South Dakota St) the biggest outsider in these Finals. Versus top-seed.

Hvy. Parris undefeated but it should be a close match. I expect it to be tactical, not many pts scored.
