Besides a solid showing vs Jones, who has Reyes beaten? He did some Toyo tires commercial as the next big thing. Got laid out by Jan, understandably the best LHW but Reyes had a very questionable decision win over Ozdemir, and a few wins against a washed up Weidman, and journeymen in OSP and Cannonier.

Jiri has taken the proper approach leading to his UFC debut and has plenty of experience under his belt. He is 28 and has learned to be more patient and is reaching his peak right now. He could have signed with the UFC but admitted that he wasn't ready. Now with him becoming the champion with RIZIN and notching more wins, he has taken the next step to his journey to the UFC title. "No Time" is certainly no easy out, but Jiri handled him with easy...the only other man to KO Odzemir was DC.

Looking forward to this match as it will be a matter of time Jiri clocks Reyes to 6pm. I think majority of people are still living in Reyes' performance vs Jones. This is like Gus. Falls short of the title against arguably the GOAT, and just regretting not getting the win...hard for them to get past. Jiri is focused and is ready to leap in front of the line after tonight.

Jiri could win by KO early no guarantees Unc.. I could fuk you pal ...

I just think Reyes recently fought Jon Jones and went the distance, Jan he got punked by but Jan is tough as nails. Jiri who has he really fought and beat on the flip?

Sure Jiri hits like a truck and swings for the fences though but he's reckless and he himself has been dropped before.

Not a fight you wanna load up on though either way. I just lean Reyes. He needs the win here also after losing 2 straight.

This was not a good look though but Jan is tight with boxing. Jiri not so much.

I know fighers say a lot of silly things after fights but Reyes got robbed againt Jon and probably wasn't mentally ready for Jan.

Benefits of teh hands low style of striking

    1. Easier to dig underhooks and prevent wrestlers from getting to your legs to blast doubles.

    2. Counter strikers drop their hands sometimes to appear undefended to bait opponents into swingly wildly for the fences. To create opportunities for counters. Lyoto Machida used this technique effectively for a long time.

    3. Punches come @ different angles from a hands low style posture. Sometimes opponents won't see the punches coming. They come from below their line of sight.

    4. Whateverz.

Can pull that off with good head movement.

If not in MMA you can get kicked in the head though ..

I enjoyed that fight a lot. Whenever one fighter gets badly injured, manages to survive and ends up winning, that's a great fight. The best part of combat sports.

Bhullar to cute with his striking and has a severe case of bitchitis. Fighting to survive and certainly not to win..
