Do I build algorythm with a combatsports athlete who fights 3 times a year max or invest my time in a soccer team who play every week...or baseball and NBA everyday?
    EXACTLY.

    ROI is what matters.

    You do big data?

I've thought about applying that approach on seasonal pro sports. Baseball, NFL, NBA. Haven't 100% gotten around to it, yet.

Nope! Hugo is. I been here forever and nobody as consistent as hugo. He knows a shit ton and if anyone wants to blindly follow pocks for a fight card i recommend him and even his live bet hedging. Really smart better.

You mean do I look at trending stats? Yeah but it's probably the last reason on the list to bet...cause you will be betting on the correct odds most of the time.
Oddsmakers use big data to set the correct odds accordingly.

Need to find angles that break those trends. Such as missing starters in teamsport or fatigue / injury in tennis or stylistic mismatch in MMA etc. Too much to mention.
Variance swings too big when betting solely on data numbers/ trends.
