I read a play by play of the fight. Sounds like the first round was close and could have gone either way and then each fighter won one of the next 2 rounds. The split decision doesn't seem unreasonable.

i thought his best round was the first round. He had a rough 1st minute but thought his sub attempts easily won that round. Round two i thought was close and i thought he won round three but the very end of the round. He went in this kids home town and the kid didn't make weight. The kid didn't have to take a piss test and he has pissed hot in the past. Pat rarely complains but said the kids legs were very greasy and he had trouble with his leg locks. I have seen much bigger robberies but i thought he got shafted here.

Hes 8-2 now and both loses went the distance with two guys that didn't make weight when he was 145 on the button. Very disappointed in his corner to let him take that fight with this kid.
