Klitschko going down early may have been the best thing that could have happened for him, Joshua threw himself out trying to end it

    Hit the over.

Thought about Wlad ML but bailed, wish I had followed through on that.

Yap. The punches Wlad landed seemed to take all the wind out of Joshua.

Really wish that ref hadn't stepped in

Klitschko seemed ok and was parrying, and that 12th round would have been real interesting

    Just saw the stoppage again

Horrible stoppage especially that late in the round. Not one punch landed in that last flurry that the ref stepped in on

Can't believe 2 scorecards had Klitschko well behind though. That decision would have been awful

Great fight, went through the ringer on that one but loaded up on ITD and made it out with some money, but really wanted that KO. Much respect for Klitschko. That's the first time I've jumped off the couch in awhile watching boxing, STAY DOWN BITCH! My son comes in, what the hell are you doing?

So he was a huge favorite on betfair huh? And 2 scorecards had him well behind. That's a big reason boxing isn't very popular these days

I had it even after 10 rounds. 2 rounds ahead or 2 rounds behind is scoring 1 close round the other way. The ref was right to stop it. Klitschko would have needed a KO in round 12, (after a 10-7 round), and he was taking a beating.

Here is a video of the stoppage

    http://www.sherdog.com/news/news/Boxing-Video-Anthony-Joshua-Survives-Scare-to-Take-Wladimir-Klitschko-Out-in-11th-120857

No doubt he had taken a beating, but if you watch starting at :57 after 2nd knockdown he is intelligently defending himself, and I watched replays when he was on the ropes before the stoppage. Nothing landed, and if you hadn't seen the 2 knockdowns before it would have looked just like Ali rope a doping. Joshua was gassed if the ref doesn't step in there and we got robbed of a really interesting 12th round, especially considering Klitschko got knocked down in the 5th and came back and almost finished a gassed Joshua in the 6th.

What were you watching? Joshua dominated the first 5 rounds and they basically split the other rounds. Joshua was killing Klit with power shots the entire fight. No way in hell would Wlad get any decision last night after losing the 6 of the first 7 rounds. Klit came back in those middle rounds but he fell way too far behind to win a decision. He needed a knockout after the 8th round. Even his corner kept telling him that he was way behind. How you had it even is perplexing???

This was a great fight. One of the best of the year but there's been some awfully good fights this year. Chocolatito vs the kid from Thailand was clearly fight of the year and GGG's last fight was incredible as well. The great thing about this fight was that it was a great fight in the heavyweight division. That's what we want to see. Huge brawlers going at it in a death match where we don't get a controversial decision. Like George Foreman once said... "I don't judge fights, I judge knockouts". Both fighters faced incredible adversity and came back and continued.

Anybody that thinks boxing is dead, is just a hater. There's great fights every weekend but you have to actually watch.

    BOL
Fan guy was a very good parachutist/glider. He was living in Vegas at the time and taught gliding. You have to be damn good to fly that distance and hit the ring on target like that. He had to use a fan in order to propel the distance long enough to get into Ceasar's. He got his ass kicked once he entered that ring. One security guard punched him 23 times and he was attacked by several other security and Riddick Bowe's handlers. I believe the Nation of Islam was on security detail. He was the only guy knocked out that night. That dude also flew around LA Raider game disrupting it before landing outside the stadium (dude was smart enough to know not to come in contact with Raider fans). He also flew into a soccer game in the UK and around the UK mall before being banned from the country.

Shit went down hill for him after those stunts. He developed heart problems, huge medical bills and moved back to Alaska. His health declined to where he couldn't parachute anymore, so he decided to go out deep in the wilderness and hung himself from a tree, almost 10 years to the date of the stunt. 6 months later some hikers found his decomposed body which was like a week before his girlfriend gave birth to their child.

Got to love how Jessie Jackson was right at the side of Bowe's wife when she fainted. He's like an attorney at a crash site. LOL
