    Im no stylebender hater. I told a lot of people before he fought cartman that Israel was the way to go, i posted a 5 unit play, but in reality i had even more on him. But, when the fight panned out, i was largely unimpressed of what i saw. A lot of holes in the defence, chin in the air, gets tagged too much. And then the fight became 2-2 before the 5th round. You got 15 cm of reach advantage, and then its 2-2 going into round 5?

    I mean...Whittaker should in theory win easy imo, im not saying its going to happen, but based on what i can remember from israel last fight.

    Agree completely. Whittaker's wrestling is also underrated and I think he will that in along with that low knee kick he was doing to Romero. Izzy got hit with a headkick and rocked last fight as well, and Whittaker is much much better at mixing in the kicks.

    One would think that Gastelum almost was the easiest of all the possible matchups he could get of the top level fighters in the division and we saw how that went, that doesnt give me much confidence in him solving the best fighter in the division. Thats from a logical standpoint, fight may off course look completely different from what we envision it to be, but i have to trust logic. He shouldnt under any circumstances let of the hook against whittaker making those mistakes, if he doesnt clean up that shit before the fight. Its a pattern i have already seen israel make countless of times prior...

    i think Israel has a solid chance to win this fight ... he has all the momentum , longer reach, better variety of strikes and Whittaker is coming off a ton of injuries/ wars ... if he can keep the distance and keep his defense solid i think he wins this fight.. people really sleep on Gastelum thinking Israel is bad because he was in a war with Kelvin is weird to me... that dude has an iron chin with elite level boxing .... IMO Yoel Romero is the hardest style fight for Israel at 85

    also how is edson barboza only -160 over paul felder??? didnt he whoop him a while back

    i know barboza has lost 3 outta 4 but 2 of those were wrestlers... he destroyed dan hooker who is a solid fighter and got KOD by Gaethje who can knock out anybody... shouldnt this be another repeat of the last fight where Barboza picks him apart with leg kicks

    Felder is perhaps slightly better at this point, making the disparity between them less. Value at -120 no doubt... at -160 doubts creeps in how much value is left.

    Yeah Adesanya has no offensive wrestling and a lot less one punch power. Big fan of Whittaker just don’t think this is a good fight for him. Most similar style matchup is the Stephen Thompson fight where he got finished in R1.

    I’m picking Barboza here too but think their first fight was closer than you’re remembering. Think Felder at least took a round on the scorecard of a judge or two and multiple rounds were pretty close.

    It gets over 2:1 felder is the play IMO....otherwise its too close to call and a pass for me....lotta skills between those 2.....

    Exactly. Lots of Southpaws beat Cowboy. Till should be coming off three straight losses (Thompson fight was a major robbery) and was never all that good imo.

    Paper- Moneyline Sports Bar and Book at the MGM or The Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay...I think even Planet Hollywood was showing it at one of the bars inside the stadium because I remember they didn't know shit about O/U lines for a UFC fight.
