    Why do people even think Pride was on the same level as UFC... Other than rampage all the "stars" have gotten their ass handed to them when the cross the pond.

    gsp is a great athlete and you cant use finishing opponents as any means of determining a fighter's dominance. GSP's wrestling is the absolute best in the UFC in any division and that is what people give him credit for, his hard working mentality and his modesty are also very likable attributes. Its very easy to make an arguement against a certain fighter, for instance, fedor was losing to arlovski before throwing that haymaker, and i thought he lost round 1 to brett in his most recent fight. GSP on the other hand dominates his fights from beginning to end.

    It's not that Pride wasn't great or the fighter's weren't great, but you have to look at the fact that they didn't drug test in Japan. There is no telling what those dudes were taking over there

    Are you serious dude? Fedor is pound for pound one of the best fighters in the world, hes 31-1 and the loss was a fluke cut which he avenged in dominate fashion. Hes easily beaten all the past and present ufc fighters hes faced, and he would knock Brock Lesnar the **** out if that fight ever happens!!!

    GSP= lost to Matt Serra, not in the top 20, since then, he's afraid to stand with anyone and can't finish a good fighter unless he weighs 30 lbs less

    Fedor= never lost, has fought the best (Nog 2x, prime CroCop, Rogers, Arlovski, Sylvia)

    Anderson Silva= hasn't lost in over 5 years and has beaten the best and even crappy fighters like Forrest (Hendo, Nate, Franklin x2)

    BJ= hasn't lost a lightweight fight in almost a decade and has a victory over the greatest WW of all-time while in his prime, not to mention a split decision loss that should've been a win vs GSP. Cleaned out lightweight division without breaking a sweat...

    But GSP greased against Serra the 2nd time and Hughes, so technically those fights don't count, only his loss to Serra counts, not his win...

    Fedor and Nog, #1 and 2, beat the best UFC heavyweight of all time, not to mention Fedor beat AA.
    Shogun and Rampage, #2 and #3 in pride, beat Chuck 3 times.
    Silva and Hendo, 1 and 2, beat Franklin, the greatest UFC MW of all time.
    and BJ's not really a UFC fighter because he's too exciting.

    UFC fighters are only white guys (cans)with no power (Bonnar, Griffin, Spencer Fisher, Tyson Griffin, maynard, etc)
