This card was rough as soon as fights started just dropping off. My biggest going in was Bamgbose and that blew up in my face (if he coulda landed just ONE follow up punch in the first!) and from there I chased. Bet two fights I had no intention of betting coming in. Lost em. Took a breather and loaded up on Rose to get some back. Knew this card didn't have many great opportunities coming in but got undisciplined and fired shots anyway after losing early on Bam. Live and learn.

When I won on Dodson/Cub/Penninton I took it all and threw it back on Rose... Go big or go home I think

I thought this card was pretty good.
    - Nurma inside
    -Dodson inside
    - Rose, a little bit of luck
    -Santiago
    - Glover

Yo wont have that many opportunities on one card. Some also liked the beth correira handicap at evens, which also was a great bet. So i actually found this card very good. But loosing first matchup can be hard. A good start on a card is important, betting is also a bit mental, self confidence etc.

Dude... The fight arguable should have gone to Torres. That was a terrible bet with no value, as that big of a favorite.

Yah. Confidence got shot after Bam loss. I shoulda had my plays in earlier so I didn't end up chasing like I did. Next time... Saved face on Rose. That was a close fight, yeah, but i felt pretty strongly she was gonna do enough.

Im starting with this from now on. Best way is to be crazy prepared before all events. Cap fight months before they happen. I think we all have something to learn from josh. He starts early which also makes him get the best lines. Finding out 2-3 days before wager is to late, although being on the right side is obviously pretty important.

Exactly. I did this for the previous card and had a great night. Watched tape on almost all the fights. Capped Johnson as a easy favorite and hit him at +150 as soon as he opened, along with the over. Easy value there. I didn't have as much time to cap this card in advance, and the fights that I got to I couldn't find a ton of value IMO. Lesson learned... Get started on the upcoming cards now. Time to move on and get ahead of things.

An hour is all you need to cap any fight.. I disagree... Capping early can back fire as well..

Weigh ins and injury reports leading up can hinder plays.. Lines also move one way or the other, no guarantees with line movements leading up... I prefer to hit the bets late and even after weigh ins..

It depends on the line, and you cant make everything correct. It may backfire especially when it comes to the day of the fight when noobs are pouring in money, sometimes on the looser. But being well prepared doesnt mean to wager early necessarily. To reflect on a matchup early may create some openings as well.

An hour per fight... 8-10 fights per card. I don't know about you all but that's hard for me to come by these days. That whole life thing gets in the way. If I don't start capping early then there's no guarantee I'll be able to get my research in the day of, or the day before, and then I'm just poorly prepared. I'm not against making plays late but I need to have my research done earlier.

    Adding to this...

I think watching the UFC preview shows and reading all the write ups that come out near fight time can offer up valuable information about both fighters.. In the end I prefer to wait and place, gather all information leading up... See how the weigh ins go, hard cut, fighter looking sloppy, etc..

I understand jumping the lines early for opening odds. In that case it's a good move like when a line first comes out and you just know it's gonna move in time against your play.... I'm guilty of placing early when I see that and really know the fighters.

Why do you multiply your winnings over 4 diffrent books when you win, but when you lose, you pretend to only bet every play at only one book, you lost a ton on this Card, call a spade a spade, and show your results like you do when you win, over multiple books. Stop being a pu.ssy

No one here cares to see a explanation of how you managed not to turn a lose by adding bets after the events over, and not tracking them like u do when you win, lets say your not a lieing fuk for once and u did win 442 at 5 dimes, you still lost around 2400 over your other books, and lost on the night, no one here is a Stupid as you are jibby, what a fake fukin clown, stop being a pussy and update your loses accordingly. Be a man for once...

She wasn't a big favorite when I bet her at 165 and 175, every round should have arguable gone to rose, she was in control of the whole fight, I'll agree that she didn't fight to her potential and fought not to lose, but there's no way you can argue the 1st and 3rd to torres. I lose alot of close fights, doesnt matter how I lose, I still get the money took out of my acco8nt, I lose on flash knockouts, I still get the money taken out my account. Rose made it closer then she should have, but she won the fight, not every fight you bet will go as you see it going, but you can not argue she didn't win that fight, she won no sweat, atleast from where I was sitting, I was never worried about the dec going to torres, from beginning to end it wasn't a bet I was worried about. Don't see how you could consider it a terrible bet. Torres wasn't even in range to do anything for the majority of the fight, was a cake walk outside of about 20 seconds where rose held her neck and took hooks to the head in the 2nd. Showed better striking and wrestling as expected, only thing she didn't show was a desire to finish.

Why don't you post your final results and stop worrying about mine Joshster?.. I'll be happy to post my winnings on every other book copy and paste, it will take me some time and they don't look like 5dimes.. Is what it is.. Sorry if that bothers ya.. If you wanna say I only won $450 on 5dimes I'm ok with that.. When I lose an event though I'll say I lost on all my books as well, I'll post negative numbers.. Problem is I really just don't lose events anymore these days betting the way I do..

I think you out played me slightly on this event.. You did miss the Bangbose under like i did, you hit Cheisa and I lost a bunch betting on Dardouche, I hit Cub Swanson nicely and you lost a bunch on Hacran Dias..

I didn't look at all the numbers you bet but I'm sure you beat me dollar for dollar just based on your play with Rose.. You bet alot more on that fight then I did.. If you bet and won 19 units on Rose then you da man.

I finished +8 units. I think I only risked 5 units or. I lost on 2 props on rose and one parlay.

Basically made up for my losses on Rothwell last week. I didn't bet very much this time as I wasn't even really going to wager this week, and was still a little sore about JDS getting on his bike and putting on a 5 round boxing clinic.. I should have seen that coming! I missed out on the Chiesa action, my other friend was thinking Dariush so I was swayed and decided to stay off that one. I was drinking the night before and playing volleyball Saturday so I just threw some down last minute, I feel like I missed out by not thinking it out more!

    My picks were

Mcgee - Yea he didn't get his wrestling going, basically picked him because I liked the guy and thought he could wrestle him.
Dodson - didnt hit on the KO play, just in two parlays
Cub - Couldn't go against Cub here, he had the fire in his eye for sure at the weigh in's and I just like his style
Pennington - Close one, too close for comfort
Thug Rose - Another close one, I honestly thought she took the 3rd round off, and the fight was close. I lose on the props for her ITD
Kabib - Threw him in on the parlays for extra juice
Glover - Scary dude, just hit him on the parlays, should have hit harder on ITD and Rd 1 obviously in hindsight

i didnt lose my ass last card, i only lost 3.3 units, or $1,013 dollars, i'm quicker to update a losing card, becuase winning is expected from me, its the norm, and i feel bad when i cost others money, so i do that, to let them know they aren't alone, i lost as well....that said we are still up over 100 units on the year, but i'm not quick to update a marginal win, because more is expected from me, winning only 3 units feels like a lose to me.

The over-unders killed me this event, oh what could have been if ferguson and machida fought on this card, would have been a great night, but overall this was a disappointment for me, just a small profit. I risked 19 units on rose, 4 units were refunded as they were no scorecards bets, and she went to the scorecards...so i only had 15 units risked which i took home 8 units off of, as she was the favorite, but i was down 4.8 units going into that fight, so i only profited a little over 3 units on the night, and it was a mistake not to re-wager on Glover for $1200, but i started to second guess myself on that match-up.

    +942.19 on the night
