I'm thinking the Russian Omari Akhmedov might get the KO finish in this match up against the Brazilian Sergio Moreas.. Russian has more experience, is better standing with many KO finishes on his record.. Sergio's likely pathway to victory is by submission but the Russian in recent fights has only been sub'd out by Gunnar Nelson. .http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Omari-Akhmedov-83462

Going with the Ruskie ITD anyways for a benny -

^^ Gotta go with Vanzant in this one if you must.. I'm also taking Vanzant ITD at +275... Bit of a long shot but I do think Vanzant is the stronger girl and with her aggressive pace and pressure she could conceivably get the finish late in this 5 rounder..

All bets in now, locked and loaded.. Ready to get this super weekend of MMA off to a good start!!

True, but it's more likely he gets the KO then a sub win if you look at his history.. 4 ko's, 2 sub wins.. http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Sage-Northcutt-130911

Not alot of value with the Northcut ITD win prop anyways.. I'll try the KO prop at plus value instead and gamble with the percentages..

Yeah he looked a full weight class bigger at the weigh-ins. You'd think with a chin that size he'd be good but his chin is definitely suspect. I read that he doesn't do full contact sparring because his stand-up is "so good that he doesn't need practice" or some shit so chances are he hasn't taken many shots in his life. He got KO'd in an amateur bout by possibly the least impressive opponent on earth; Charles Shppard (0-0 MMA) http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Charles-Sheppard-130909

No doubt when he faces a true striker in the UFC he will be in serious trouble, but I don't think Pfister is the guy to expose him. He's a tough dude who will keep pressure on him and probably shoot in for takedowns as soon as the stand up doesn't go his way, but I don't think he has the KO power to be a real threat.

Jibby, consider this analysis for this fight, courtesy of gamblou.com

In our judgement this is a fight between fighters going different directions. Jim Miller is a wrestling based grinding fighter who is older in fight years than his actual 32 years. While he’s a gutsy, gritty fighter we believe that as the fight gets into the later rounds it will be Miller that will have a tough time matching the pace and freshness of the younger, taller, longer Chiesa. Chiesa also is quite large for the lightweight division and all who read us understand the advantages youth, size and length provide a fighter. Both of these cats are southpaws so this could end up being one grinding ugly affair….or at least that’s how we hope this fight transpires. We tweeted our position on Chiesa via Twitter a couple of days ago -120. He may be a few cents higher today but we see this as his fight to lose.

I did consider all this, but Jim is more experienced and possesses a higher skill set IMO.. It's possible that Chiesa uses his height, youth and cardio to out work Jim and win by decision but I'm not betting on it.. Jim has more ways to win this fight I believe, either by KO or Sub in other words..

I'm actually a little nervous with this fight.. Howard can take a punch and is fairly durable.. He may also hold a slight wrestling edge.. On Tim Dirty Bird but not super confident..

To answer your question it's possible Tim could get the KO late.. His striking is solid.. Might be worth a shot at those odds.. I'm gonna pass on it though..

    1433 Means wins by TKO/KO +185

I know line movement does not mean too much in regards to MMA, Northcutt went from -1100 to -1000, Chiesa from -138 to -150, VanZant from -160 to -150. At first I was gonna take Sage by KO/TKO/DQ at -275 but this dude may make it an ugly fight and drag it out. Northcutt by decision is +300. Starting to consider the over 1.5 rounds. Also, let us keep in mind to be careful with big favorites after the judging has been putrid this year in MMA.

I was actually thinking of pulling the trigger on the Jim Miller KO prop myself, granted Chiesa is tough as nails Jim still packs some Ko power.. Joe Lauson got the KO stoppage on Chiesa a couple fights ago if I remember correctly, think it was because of cut though...

    1133 Miller wins by TKO/KO +1080

Jim is probably more likely to get a submission win though against the taller Cheisa with 14 of his 25 wins coming by way submission victory.. http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Jim-Miller-14463

1131 Miller wins by submission +405

Both fighters are durable so I'm still trying to think this out logically...

I'm rolling with Chiesa. I absolutely agree that he is alot younger fighter than Miller, and I'm a Miller fan. We'll see. What about this dirty prelim shit? Anything you fancy? Paige to win in round 3, 4 and 5 are great odds. Round 5 is +2000.

    Here we go!!! Game time!!

Going with Curran in this first fight.. She should hold the clear wrestling advantage, but she needs to avoid the submissions.. She has been working on her sub defense recently so let's see how far along she is.. Parlayed for small..

Pending12/10/15 6:45pm UFC Fighting 2102 Kailin Curran -345* vs Emily Kagan

Then going with the Russian in the second fight..
