This fight makes little sense to me:
    Yair Rodriguez vs. Charles Rosa.

    Both good prospects and marketable.

I have trouble seeing Cain, Kelvin, and Cejudo losing.

To an extent Albert Tumenov should also win.

Agreed, Cejudo is a rising star in sport with his Olympic caliber back ground and Albert Tumenov is as tough as they come..

Question is will Henry make the weight and the fight stay on?

He comes from Mexican Heritage so I think he'll be extra motivated. Chico is not very good.

I'm a big rosa fan after his fight with siver. Kid has talent. Also going with cain, melendez, gastelum, probably torres, and cejudo..they seem pretty solid to me.

oh and lets not forget p4p GOAT cathal the future champ pendred

Like Cejudo. Werdum might surprise Cain. Alvarez and Melendez will be FOTN.

Werdum continues to be underestimated. People still see him as a "BJJ master" which of course he is. However, he's become a VERY dangerous striker: destroying: Hunt, Browne and Nelson. He also did very well against Overeem (when he was on horse meat).

Werdum's cardio is decent (not on Cain's level -- but he hasn't gassed in recent years).

Wouldn't be surprised if Werdum stands with Cain and does damage and gets a KO. And obviously all of Cain's wrestling attacks and takedowns will be vulnerable for submissions.

    I cap this fight at -233 for Cain (70%) +233 Werdum (30%).

agreed, werdum hasn't fought anybody like cain .. closest was fedor..and I think fedor just simply got lazy. 9/10 I think fedor wins that fight.

going with cain all the way. He'll be ready.

Anyone who didnt think Werdum had excellent stand up bet on Travis Browne over him.. And that was a cake walk.

Werdums chin oh Mann.. Every time I watch this guy its spooky. Mark Hunt could've done it, If he was a bit younger or had better cardio. Travis doesn't have the most accurate technical punches and he was kinda done after he got tired and slowed down a lot. Velasquez best boxer in the heavyweight division , his technique and striking on point.. He will find Werdums chin and put him down + Cain Top game will murder him if he's already rocked and Cain ain't gonna be scared to go down there once he drops him, its all over.

Werdum is legit. His striking has come along very nicely, and he is dangerous everywhere. His jiu jitsu hips are strong and explosive which allow him to launch devastating knees from the clinch, and at distance.

However, Cain is the king of cardio. The first couple rounds may be up and up, but I'm expecting Werdum to tire from the pace Cain forces. Once that happens, Cain will pick apart Werdum and get a late TKO stoppage.
I'm hoping I'm not underestimating Werdum again, and I actually think he can beat junior dos santos if they ever fought. But cardio is the #1 attribute in any sport.
    Cain inside the distance -150

JDS KO'd Werdum in his UFC debut. But JDS has been hasn't been the same since Cain annihilated him 3x's.

3x? JDS put him out in a round. Cain will put him out in a round. You're welcome.

Good catch Unwritten. I meant to have write if they ever fought again. You're right though, Cain utterly destroyed JDS in those last two fights. And he caught cracks against Stipe. He absorbed an insane amount of punishment in those 3 fights. That cannot be good for his career longevity.

Anyone have a guess as to what the line will be for Alvarez/Melendez? En Nino as a slight fav, -160?

I'm hoping to get good odds on Alvarez, Melendez striking is average and Eddie showed he can deal with a good wrestler when he fought Chandler.
Is Melendez the local guy here? if the crowd cheers for everything he does Alvarez will have some trouble getting a decision.
