CP - EVENT review and picks.. - http://combatpress.com/2015/04/toe-t...d-predictions/

Finding this card to be very favorite heavy from top to bottom.. About the only dog play I see worth trying is CB Holloway.. Maybe Jessica Rokacsy as well.. Other then that it's favorite after favorite that should win in my opinion and of the opinion of many event writers... May be a 2 team parlay heavy betting card for this guy...

Posted on another betting forum by me -

I think Chris Clements will come up a bit short because the dude is almost 40 years old and he’s fighting a guy in Taleb that is pretty durable and will probably just wear him out and out work him in the end if he can stay conscious and weather the early storm...http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Chris-Clements-13469

If you do go with Chris Clements as the dog play wait for the KO prop to come out for better value.. 11 Ko’s, 0 submissions and only 1 decision is Chris Clements.. I think his only pathway to victory would be by way of KO early on..

This prop is out on Clements for value now if you are impatient and can't wait for the KO prop –

1905 Clements wins inside distance +426*

He's out because he got greedy and broke contract because he saw dollar signs.. A stand up fighter in Maldonaldo that he could handle and a much bigger payday to come in the next UFC fight after that..

    Is a shame though...

Bellator owns his fighting rights per contract and the UFC/Zuffa boys as always try to break the rules and monopolize.. Temptation of a big Zuffa pay day was just to great for Rampage. It's gonna ultimately cost him in the end and Bellator as well unfortunately.

If I never see Rampage fight again I will be cool with that.. He should go back to Bellator with his tail between his legs and beg for forgiveness.. He could actually hold a title belt in Bellator for a change and fight bums for easy smaller pay days for a short while.... Build his legacy in Bellator further, finish out his contract with Bellator as champ and then sign and negotiate for big with Zuffa then after..

Dude needs to keep his word, stay out of the legal courts and fight in Bellator or just retire and go broke!!!...

Yep, they fought twice already, the first fight years ago went into the 3rd round before Sara Dropped Davis.. The second fight went to decision with Sara Kaufman winning again.. Sara Kaufmann should go 3-3 for the clean sweep. Probably goes to decision as Davis has improved enough to make this a really close fight this last go around.. .http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Sarah-Kaufman-16524

Trying the Kuafman wins by 3 round decision myself for a small 50 bucks at positive odds -

Theory still stands when it's the first rematch.. If it's the 3rd fight the theory goes right out the window as it then usually becomes a one sided affair like when Rich Franklin fought Anderson Silva 3 times and got worked..

Sara Kaufman beat her twice already and she should hit the trifecta for the clean sweep!!! Good luck with your 30% bank roll bet Miri as you should watch it burn up...

Hey but the first 2 fights were reasonably close so you never know? Then again Sara is still just 29 years old and still in her MMA prime. She's the stronger girl of the two and that's tough to bet against.. http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Sarah-Kaufman-16524

Fabio Maldonaldo can't punk Rampage standing and trading in the pocket I think.. Rampage could lose by decision though if Fabio runs and boxes really well.. I'm gonna bet on Rampage anyways as I think he probably wins by KO...

I would laugh though if Rampage gets dropped by Maldonaldo in this fight and then cut from the UFC shortly after failing a drug test.

Reading all the gambling forums tonight as I watch and bet on the NBA playoffs.. Lot's of MMA betting heads are on the CB Dollaway by decision win at +190...

I’m personally a little worried CB may finish.. After all Bisping is getting up in age and has been spending more time in the UFC studios then in the gym lately… CB Dollaway is probably working day and night after that quick Machida loss.. Just saying…

Liking CB Dollaway in this match up regardless at the current price of +125… CB Dollaway 6 KO's, 3 Subs.. 6 wins by decison...http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/CB-Dollaway-22350

CB will finish Bittchping by GNP or sub.

Rampage and Maldonaldo will go decision. Page and finishing Maldonaldo and vice versa.

yep, those over under-bets are like lotto. You win some you loose some. A lot of matchups are very juicy, and the bets that cashes is very hard to foresee. who thought holloway could submit swanson? Or a sterling with a typical mizugaki sub (i know you prediced this jibby) ? i mean its no point..this becomes a profit reducing factor longterm, at least for me.

    Rampage Jackson -300 now.. Geez.....

First fight back in the UFC so I certainly don't see Rampage losing, even if it goes to decision Maldonaldo will probably get robbed if need be.......

Maldonaldo will hold the boxing edge but not the punching power and chin strength as both favor Rampage Jackson..

3-1 odds you will be paying to play that straight... Yipes!!!!

How can you lay money on a guy that is the worst cry baby and rolls out excuse after excuse. If he loses it will always be someone else's fault

Maldonado is going to be a vegetable when he retires too.
I'd love to know the stat of how many power punches he's had in his face

Rampage had a lingering knee injury around the time he fought Rashad that never healed properly. Being oblique kicked by Jon Jones might have also aggravated it. That injury was never dealt with properly until Rampage moved to Bellator, which is when he was supposed to have rehabbed it fully.

That's the major upside to Rampage from his last stint in the UFC.

But yeah, Yacuna. Rampage does have a tendency to be as disciplined or want it as more as others do. He tends to slack off and cut corners, then he blames his opponents when he shows up out of shape and is out hustled by wrestlers who just want to hug and cuddle.

Maldonado was training with Team Nogueira. I think he left Team Nog because they made him pay gym fees, whereas other UFC pros didn't have to. Maldonado has been training out of his own gym for his last few fights. Not sure if Maldonado has quality sparring partners in his gym to work with, he might just be training himself over there.

I would think Rampage has to be a lock.

But what if Rampage ate nothing but donuts and junk food when his fight with Maldonado was cancelled. He stopped training and hit the clubs.

As a result, Rampage has a terrible weight cut that dehydrates him and leaves him half dead on the scale, and Maldonado beats him on points?

Rampage is so prone towards goofing off and not taking his fighting career seriously. Might be a good idea to wait for weigh ins to see how in shape he looks 24 hrs before the fight.
