    Bad technique? He was doing amazing at his submissions. Almost got him multiple times. Definitely out fought him on the ground with his jiu jitzu.

    I mean I agree but giving credit for attempts is dumb....they didn't work lol....I agree he fought well..esp on the ground....but SHOCKINGLY he didn't finish him...had chances...but nope..

    I thought it was 2-2 going into round 5. I thought Newton won the round with the takedowns. Not the worst judges call I've ever seen but I was surprised at the result.

    Had to bail out on this event half way thru, just got back home and watched it now.. Newton was slippery with those sub escapes.... Was a good fight.. Not sure about that decision though.. I think you gotta do more to take the belt from the champ.. Just my opinion... I would have gave it to Newton..

    Anyways, I hope a few of you guys posting won some money tonight...

    I was hit and miss all night with this event.. Hit an over, missed an over, win a fight lose a fight.. This event was pretty much a wash for me.. Although I must say that O 1 1/2 rounds for -170 was big in the Newton fight because if that doesn't land I would have gotten slaughtered...

    On with tomorrow night gents!!!! UFC time!!!
