The price on Tarec seems very generous to me. This is Rory's first 5 rounder and despite Rory having a reach advantage Staff is the more technical Striker.
Staff should not be this high
Odds are nuts now at what -500 or something for Rory????.. I'm already placed.. Rory's chin makes me a little nervous but Rory is better in just about every other area and should win this fight hands down...
Be careful my friend with Tarec because of seeing the big odds... Don't get wide eyed....
Rory by clinic is my best guess on the ground.. 5 rounder benefits Rory as he is a cardio machine if it goes that long.. Thinking sub win early on by Rory myself...

I haven't rewatched their fights yet so not sold on a bet as yet man. Rory is fantastic at using his reach BUT Saff has overcome large reach disadvantages before and can be difficult to deal with his switch stance.
I need to look into this further but I sure as shit won't be laying 5/1 on Rory
Edit: Don't worry about Rory's chin , Saff couldn't finish a sandwich

^^ My take and my opinion on the Tarec vs Nate fight.. Of course I saw it as that was a stacked Strikeforce card back at the time.. I think it was the last Strike Force showing too if I remember correctly?
Nate got his leg chopped to hell in that fight sure but he was coming forward and I don't think it was as one sided as the judges or you guys make it out to be.. Nate was pressing forward that entire fight.. Not a great showing from Nate but he hung in and it went the distance..
Bet on Tarec then fellas against Rory and see what happens..

I have no idea why it's -500. Rory will most likely win but those odds are nuts. I hope it keeps climbing and I'll take my chances with Saffy.
Saffs not as good as i remember him being after watching footage.
Saff is very technical on the feet. Makes few mistakes. He doesn't have enough power to put anyone on their ass nevermind put them out with one shot. His takedown defense is very solid. Its improved greatly since his fight with woodley. He's got very good cardio and he's a tough focking kid. But Rory is on another level. The odds are off IMO. I cap Rory at -300. I don't believe saff will beat any of the top 5 guys at 170 and I do think Rory is a top 5 guy and the guy who will eventually hold the title. This will be a very good fight. Much closer than the line indicates but ultimately MacDonald should take a UD.

You feeling ok Rock? This might be the most detailed post with the fewest amount of expletives or slurs I have seen you post in the short amount of time I've been on here. I agree with the breakdown though - can't lay -500 on Rory here. Will see what the props look like when they open up.
How do you see Rory winning though? Will he keep it on the feet and out strike Saff or will he look to take Saff down?
Agree 100% that Rory should not be -500. Normally when I see a -500 I can tell straight away why they are this price but I am struggling here.
I'm not convinced that Rory would have the cardio to implement a wrestling heavy game plan against Saff for his first 5 rounder. So if this fight does stay standing can Rory out strike Saff for 5 rounds?
