Interesting, Kennedy opened at -130 now up to +117. How the impression of Romero changes from fight to fight

I'll ride him until he gets popped for juicing

Edit: referring to Romero, but the former would be hilarious

I feel as if that fight depends on whether Romero chooses to win or not. The guy can do pretty much anything in MMA, he just has really shitty gameplanning.

I agree. Perfect style to beat Miz, and Cruz isn't the type to go in there knowing he isn't 100 %, or close to it.

No. I can only assume that people are giving the layoff/injuries a lot of weight. We still might see a lot of steam on him this week, though.

This should be an easy card to win for all of us.. Just glancing at the line up and I can tell already whom I'm gonna play that's up on the board.... Not gonna be alot of capping from me in this event.. Gonna keep this one simple..

-Mighty Mouse Johnson (no play because of the odds)
    -Cowboy Cerrone
    -Conor McGregor
    -Tim Kennedy
    -Cat Zingano
    -Dominique Cruz

Probably gonna hit these guys below also.. Just need to cap these 5 fights a little more just in case..

    -Jorge Masvidal
    -Stephan Thompson
    -John Howard
    -John Tuck
    -Cody Gibson

It is heartwarming to picture you searching the keyboard for the letter q, so you can spell the name "Dominick". You are not an MMA writer.

Seriously though, Kennedy is a complete douche (it does make a significant difference when judging talent), and his offense is undeniably grappling/wrestling-based: Romero keeps his freestyle silver medal in a bigger and cleaner box than the one he trained in when he won it, and he has proven that he will literally shit himself before he relents. If he wrestles half as competently as he did in the Tavares fight, this should be easy and very, very satisfying. I'm surprised that the odds are so close, and shocked to read that Yoel opened as the underdog.

Other notes: Cruz still has value at -370. Connor was great when I got him at -170, but -265 is stupid against Poirier. Cerrone is an absolute steal at close numbers. As far as the main card goes, Cerrone and Romero feel like the best bets. Emoticon

That's crazy talk after his repeated injuries and almost three years off and coming back against a good fighter like Mizugaki. -700 would be unbettable anyway even if it made sense.

Disagree with you a bit. Romero's ability to double-leg Tavares has very little to do with his ability to stop Kennedy from bodylocking him. If Kennedy gets someone down, they're probably not getting back up, but Romero is excellent in this area, so who knows. I'm not necessarily saying that there isn't value on Romero, though. Still watching tape on that one.

Conor should be -500; Poirier will look silly in this fight.

LOL.. Dominique is a pretty hot brunette, cute and loving in the clinch, very aggressive in the top position though, likes to keep it standing in the shower, bit of freak at times she is.

Bava I can always count on you with a spell check.. Thanks man..

Dominick Cruz it is!!!! Dude hasn't fought in so long I forgot how to spell her name...

Alvarez is a can. surprised if he makes it to the third round. Romero winning depends on what Romero shows up. Dominick is no where near a lock. his fighting dancing abilities might be hindered by all his injuries.

My thoughts are that Kennedy wears down Romero as the fight continues with his pace and cardio and just basically beats Romero on points standing... Avoids the take downs after the 1st round... It should be a competitive fight regardless.. With that being said - I really like this fight to go the distance more then anything else to be honest..
