Biggest night of fixed fights in UFC history?

I'm NOT one of these conspiracy clowns but I couldn't help but think that
one of 2 things happened today:

    1. It was the biggest UFC card of fixed fights in history.

    2. It was the biggest heartless muppet-filled fight night in history.

    A) Cody Donovan -- wtf? The guy just rolled and quit.

    B) Mike King -- either he got seriously injured or that was a fake.
I've never, EVER seen anyone go out that fast from a choke.
It looked like his neck broke or something.

    C) Chris Dempesy -- Again the muppet just gave up. WTF?

    D) Kotani -- Another roll over.

    E) Brandao -- where was the beast? Another fawkin roll over.

Seriously... how many dives were taken tonight?
Or should they just cut every one of these muppets out of the UFC?

    Talk to me.

You are literally suggesting that the UFC paid Cody Donovan (who is not only terrible, but the "Irish roots" fighter) to take a dive against Nikita Krylov. You should think about that, and then get some sleep.

Not the UFC. Mobsters... gamblers... Irish thugs... SOMEONE. Haven't seen someone with less heart since watching Skeletor in He-Man.

All right, that's a little more plausible. My defence of the UFC actually works in favour of what you're saying in that case; how f-cking hard could it be to pay Donovan to take a dive against Krylov?

I still think you're completely wrong, but I don't condemn your scepticism.

He absolutely did quit. No doubt in my mind. He was certainly hurt, but he wasn't willing to fight through it.

I'm more curious why nobody is talking about Norman Parke openly admitting to fixing a prop bet.

Watch out, next time the mobconnected Fertitta's is gonna tailor you a pair of cement boots for revealing this conspiracy.

Seriously though, Donovan has no chin, Dempesy is a dogshit fighter, Mike King looked slightly off, but i believe he squeezed the blood vessels on the side of the neck, thus cutting blood to his brain and he was already exhausted, Kontani was overmatched and didn't want to be there after getting his head elbowed in, in this first round. Brandao quits like Brandao does.

Its not like any of them was underdogs either.

This sort of discourse can only end with some muppet like Chris Field thinking he'll have a bit of a laugh and coming out and saying "ah sure, I threw 20 quid on the other fella to win by knockout, just to soften the blow incase I ended up losing in front of the home fans. You'll never beat the Irish, lads!"

You'll never beat the legal system, lads!

Because he missed weight, was involved in a car crash, and was genuinely in a bad place going into that fight. and if you paid attention more to MMA you would know this.

There were certainly some mitigating circumstances, but with what happened in the Elkins, Poirier, and now McGregor fights, would you disagree with the assertion that he's a quitter until further notice? He certainly quit in the two stoppage losses, and pretty much gave up fighting back as soon as he gassed against Elkins, content to lose a decision. One "quit" moment, sure, but three?

He has always given me strong Erick Silva vibes.
