I will comment on the Verdum vs Browne fight -
Question is can Werdum take or get Travis Browne to the canvass to work his Jits? If the fight remains standing I highly doubt Werdum is going to get the better of Browne in the striking exchanges..
With that being said chances are the fight will remain standing and Travis Browne will land the KO at some point.. Werdum is a big man though, so anything is possible with these HW bouts.. Werdum is the best submission expert in the HW UFC division today but Travis Browne on the flip side has decent take down defense.. Last time I checked Werdum's doubles and or trip TD's are very average to say the least... I fully expect Travis Browne to hold the Cardio edge as the fight goes on...
This is gonna be a very difficult fight for Werdum to win... My money will be on Travis Browne anyways...

Sucks to be against the majority again.
Werdum will eventually get Browne down and submit him. The reign of hellbows will end in this fight. I don't see werdum taking the risk against the cage after watching the Barnett fight.
I think we have the opportunity to see a string of upsets coming up. Kawajiri, Nog, and werdum.

I can picture Browne wanting to land a power shot and rushing in, gets tied up and goes down with one of the leg trips, or just allowing werdum to grab him and fall back to guard. I know its possible for Browne to land on werdum but if it stays standing long enough he will get frustrated.
I picture Browne thinking that he can pound werdum out on the ground if need be, and if he gets too confident on the ground with werdum he will have a bad night.
Maybe I'm just not sold on the striking prowess of Browne as much as everyone else, but I think Werdum is being underestimated here.
He's all the way up to +170 now, what do you think about the o/u?
I like over and under bets when you have a strong reason to cap the fight to go in one of those directions....two guys fighting who have never been finished,or a guy fighting who has finished every opponent by submission in round one against a guy who has bad takedown defense,stuff like that. Most people feel that werdum is going to sleep if he can't get the takedown....but is that quick? Is that later if werdum gases? I don't have a strong enough lean to play over/under here. I envision this fight to play out similar to werdum vs fedor but we shall see...
Line just completely flipped from ov 2.5 being +155 to being -160 so I was just wondering. I really don't know about this fight, I'm thinking Werdum. I kinda suck at hw fights though.
Travis Browne is in good shape these days and he's not gonna be easy to keep down even for Werdum if the fight ever goes to the ground.. I remember Travis Browne with pretty good TD defense and then with the athletic ability to get the fight back up and standing. I'm sure he's gonna be trained up for it anyways..
Oh and don't think Travis Browne is gonna fall for the FEDOR mistake either - he's hurt and dive into the triangle sub.. Travis Browne is seasoned now and should dominate Werdum..
exactly what i was thinking, travis is the real deal and im sure he takes werdum and has a good shot vs cain too.

Yep, Travis right now I think is at another level then Werdum.. I really like Travis Browne in this one.... I don't think Werdum gets out of the 1st round actually..

heh yea, over 2.5 +155 with won't start round 4 -150 gives you a risk free middle.

Browne will keep this fight standing and win via tko or decision. Werdum will put in a good effort on the feet on it won't be good enough and I don't see Werdum getting any takedowns.

The tricky one is Cowboy Donald Cerrone vs Edson Barboza as I think Cowboy is more experienced and is technically better in every area but Edson Barboza is no joke.. Only lost 1 fight and brings that intangible athletic factor..
I think Cowboy might get dropped in this one.. He really has been sticking his chin out in recent fights and has even gotten a bit wobbled in a few... I think this one stays standing and It's gonna get crazy... Jamie Varner was the only one to touch Barboza so far..... Can Donald tap that chin too in a rebound fight for Edson...... IDK????
