if judges were intelligently guaging damage instead of mechanically tallying takedowns i'd go heavy on condit...cuz altho his TDD is crap, he--more than almost any other fighter--tends to dish out more punishment than he gets from there (and from damn-near every position, for that matter...15 minutes with Condit is like time spent in a continuous vegematic of fists, knees, and especially elbows)...

think of Hendricks being awarded the decision over Condit due to a huge lot of takedowns with almost no follow-up damage at all (to be fair, he tried to do something from them at first...but after eating plenty of elbows while on top, he decided to just keep lettin'em up and tak'emdown again...)

bumdeal's right...with the current state of takedown-tallying that passes for judging, someone like Condit is very likely to once again inflict more damange on his opponent and come out with the shitty end of the decision-stick
