Okami also spent/spends considerable time training in the States unlike many asians. After losing to Sonnen he went and lived and trained with him, going completely out of his comfort zone

American wrestling training + no jetlag = teh business. They dont train enough wrestling in Asia.

Also seeing all the much bigger white and black hogs raises testosterone and makes you more aggressive. All science baby. That's why all the Brazilians are so aggressive.

japan actually has some of the best free style wrestlers in the world. But they dont cross train with kakutougi fighters. MMA is almost dead in Japan. While wrestlers like Saori Yoshida are cultural icons with huge sponsorships. Great mma fighters like Mizuki have to work at subway for 40 hrs a week then train.

"You hear them say it could be fatal and you think of everything that is important to you in your life," said Perez, who will return to action for the first time since getting the staph infection when he meets Takeya Mizugaki in a three-round bantamweight bout on Fox Sports 1 on Aug. 28 in Indianapolis.
"I was thinking about death, and maybe about amputation, and I even thought maybe the doctors were saying all that just to scare me," Perez said. "I was insistent I wanted to keep training, but when I learned how serious it was, I realized that the real foe was not my opponent but the infection. When I understood that, I didn't worry that much about fighting or losing momentum in my career. I had to fight to survive. That's what was important."
Mentally, he began to crumble. He turned to food for comfort. He still believed he might have lost everything that was important to him, and so he began to gorge on food once he was released from the hospital and returned to Mexico to be with his family.
"I got really depressed and afraid," Perez said. "I ate what I wanted, and I didn't live the life of an athlete. I overate, because I took comfort in the food. I was not in a good place and I didn't know what my future would be."

No idea, i'm just saying be careful because it can go both ways, some people come out of it with more conviction and will then ever before and up themselves 10 fold and some people get scarred forever and fall apart when they come under fire.

Perez is still quite young which is why i am hesitant to play this fight on anything but o/u at best because of the above reasons. I think Munoz age and maturity and having competed at a high level more then half his life is what made him come out of it looking as good as he did.

Doesn't bring the juice down on both fighters, smartass (you're half a retard, actually.) What it does is bring down the amount of money you're risking.

You were looking for other forums so you can move on from here lol but you're the most active user here now

Condit should be ashamed of himself if he loses to a guy with no chin and a fight IQ a tenth of his. Tough guy with a two cent brain. This isn't Alves Kampman is fighting.

Until the Hendricks knockout, Kampmann was known for his great chin. You're just talking out of your ass.

He has no fight IQ? How did he beat Rick Story? lol just be quiet, dude.

I'm not backing Kampmann in this fight, but you don't know what you're talking about.

I will give all of my picks & plays in a couple of days. However, I already have one large play on Tavares straight -400. I believe Thatch will be victorious as well.
