    I smoke OG Kush many times. I like Skywalker OG. I like to have a variety of strains and mix it up. I rarely smoke the same strain for weeks on end.

    Not true. Girl Scout Cookies will get you higher with one bowl than NY Diesel will with 4 bowls. Higher THC %. ONE HIT QUIT, SON!!!

    Perhaps. But I really don't think the %s are that great of a difference for the most part. The name isn't really what makes the %, the quality of grow does for the most part. Each year they may get 1% or more potent as they cross different strains. I don't know dispensaries like you guys, but from what I see online is just their flavor of the month being the top shelf. There are so many goofy strains out there now by crossing and re-crossing, seems as if whatever is new, is top shelf. Also probably has to do with the availability. While Sour D is everywhere, it may tend to be cheaper than a new strain. Call me a classic kind of guy, but a quality grown LA Confidential, Granddaddy Purp, Banana Kush, or Sour D does me quite fine.
