I don't get the 'cerebral analysis' joke (must be a private joke), doesn't everybody use their brain/stats/previous fights/mma news/weight-in etc to cap fights?

It comes down to weigh in photos. Hopefully you can tell which fighter has the biggest hawg. That is the number one unknown variable.

If that what you truly enjoy about mma is the weight-in looking at their hawg size, all the power to you buddy.

giga...sideloaded is just injecting hyperbolic sarcasm to further support your point...he's one of the good guys around here...with respect to intelligent (ie. non-hawg-size centred) considerations of MMA matches...

these posts are less like formal correspondence...and more like guyz razzing each other around a table at a pub...so they often say ridiculous things to mock the "logic" inherent in a square or casual-fan's bet-selection process

Anything can happen sure but I think Shamhalaev has a higher chance to stop the fight at any point in the fight. He hits with force, force and shock that goes through his opponents they can't take the weight of many strikes by him. Rad Martinez is a good fighter but he hasn't fought anyone worth talking about. This is a match up of 2 up and comers and I think Sham has more potential, he comes from a good russian team (Goretz) and now trains with red fury with Khabib Nurmagomedov who is a better wrestler than Martinez.

    I think Sham is better
totally agree with the chin up / lack of defense from rad and also agree sham has the better chance to finish... I don't take too much away from flash ko's though, so I'm not taking the richman fight too deeply alhtough I def agree he's the better boxcer than sham. thanks for the insight..

What has changed in two months?

If the close doesn't approach the original I'm going to just go ahead and say the market is meaningless in MMA.
yea I'm really pissed right now, think I played him around -145 the first time around before sham got sick and cancelled.

    WTF????

Rad up to -250 right now out of no where...50 point movement after a full day of lingering at -200..

I've been sitting on his line all day at -200 waiting and hoping it'd get better, especially after seeing all the love for sham to upset.. Don't think I can take that price at this point...

Some of you sham backers should add some more on sham and get that rad line back down for me

    92959693-1 2/20/2013 11:26 PM Money Line 102.50 50.00 Pregame Sports
    24010 D Lima -205 for Game
    92982440-1 2/21/2013 8:42 PM Money Line 10.00 34.00 Pregame Sports
    24017 R Amaya +340 for Game

Wish I would have put more on lima yesterday, but hadn't done much research so didn't feel as confident as I do now.

Took amaya for a minimum just because the last match was fairly competitive, so raul might have learned something and might have a fire under his ass to get some revenge..

Trying to get dirty to put the rad play in for me, apparently his book hasn't updated the lines yet and he's still at -200...

Don't have the ticket copy / paste because dirty put this play in for me. I hope rad's line jump on my book wasn't a blessing in disguise, this has happened a few times to me where I miss out on an excellent line and don't play it, and it ends up being the smart move..

But screw all that here, dirty still had him at -200 and I'll take it. Thanks dirty nutz.

150 to win 75 on Rad.

    GL to everyone tonight, cheers
