    Thinking of betting Bigfoot Silva by KO when the props come out...

    Overeem is tough, but may turtle if Silva can get at him similar to how Mr. Lesnar used to be... Depends how good the odds are..

    Obviously the UFC wants Mr. Overeem to win this fight...

    I don't think Bigfoot has significant power standing, his gnp is relatively good though. He never hurt Arlovski, who is pretty easy to hurt, but clearly outboxed him.

    I'm aware Overeem turned and ran from Karitonov, and after he ditched Golden Glory Bas Rutten said Overeem used to turn away from punches until it was trained out of him. I don't think he'll turtle in this instance, since all that was a while ago.

    I think Bigfoot is live in this provided he uses movement, since Overeem has an almost stationary fighting style. Rather than bet Bigfoot by KO I would rather bet Bigfoot by decision. I will probably be betting fight goes distance, since I don't know if Bigfoot can win fighting off the back foot, and also Overeem may still win the exchanges even if Bigfoot avoids being stopped.

    I wouldn't play it, but bigfoot has to be the most underrated HW of all time. He is the first one that actually SMASHED Fedor after all.

    That may be the outcome, but I think the line will probably be off. There's huge variables like Bigfoot's glass jaw, and also Overeem may set up something with kicks. But in terms of pure striking I think Overeem is a more favourable match up than Cormier or even Mike Kyle. Bigfoot has usually done well when he can box at range.

    Look at the size disadvantage there. I thought Fedor beats him, but Bigfoots size was too much. He mounted him and Fedor couldn't get up. Other than that Bigfoot has beat very few good fighters. Bigfoot isn't terrible, but the matchup isn't too favorable.

    True on all points. Like said, I wouldn't go betting on Silva with this one.

    Still, it's kind of funny how underrated he is. I honestly was shocked when he beat Fedor, and Arlovski too. That said, I'm counting on Overeem to win but if Silva somehow manages to win this fight, it isn't exactly the upset of the year either. Silva doesn't generally get the respect he deserves. Perhaps it's because he's a goofy looking mofo and his movement kind of reminds me of watching handicapped people during foreplay.

    (Speaking of favourable matchups, that's one of the reasons I think Rashad is a really good pick for this event. I'd assume the Evans-Diet Nog fight will be kind of like Bader-Diet Nog with the added bonus that everything Bader does, Rashad does better)

    Yeah Overeem wins this one. I'd venture to say 2nd rnd ko/tko. Can't get over Bigfoot getting shelled by LHW Mike Kyle. Although he didn't finish, Still rocked him bad. Bigfoots just too chinny.
